sfv, larry, tahoe og kush?

I an larry

I an larry

You are pronouncing it wrong. Its larry, not like Larry, the name. So its not from some dude named Larry.
Before Cali Conn was "in the news" so to speak "He" sent people beans and consulted with them He sent me The "Larry OG" and I told him the grow was good and what the characteristics where and what I though about it. My Name is Larry. You can choose to believe this or not.All I know is this strain was not named yet until I gave my opinion of it. And "The dude" I was working with had my real first name take it as you like.

calicon's larryog is a cross of the "larry" clone (been around for a while!) with their (calicon) sfv og male. that's where the name came from larry. are you saying the orange county "larry clone" came from you? not trying to be a dick, just curious.

Get a life.
Or at least get the story straight before you start making shit up about it

Larry S1s 3/3 had nuts in a room full of dank plants!
Ran the clones and had the same problem with them.
1 that I pulled a couple of nuts off of grew tiny buds.
I threw that plant out to make room for a real plant.
Im throwing away the rest of the pack.
There are some CC Tahoe plants in my room that are doing pretty good.

These Tahoes stink like a skunk.
Not much lemon, pine or fuel smell to them, yet.
Really funky though.
The buds on one of them formed a little weird, kinda stemy.
The other one has some fat buds with some gaps on the cola, but its not that frosty, yet.
There might be another Tahoe clone around here and I still have another 3 seeds.
I was turned off by the Buddha Tahoe because they seem to be prone to mold and then theres the louie conspiracy and all that.
Looks like fire though.

People probably change the name so they dont have to deal with the tainted caliconman stigma

Do most Kushs yield low? I have grown some Master Kush that did well. I just don't know if that was a fluke or that's usual.

I wouldn't say yield low just needs some dialling. ... could get 1,5-even 2 per light with practice. ... but it aint never gonna be blue dream or chem 4 ....

I ran Tahoe FEMS from cc they grew supper nice big thick stems but they all hermed probably high temps. I kept clones of all but chose the one that seemed the most stable. Ran it twice an it yielded real small an had like no flavor. Now at the same time i was running sky walker og an og 18 an they are both super fire. I mean 1 bud in my pocket makes a hole room stink.i hear so many praise it I wish I would have had a killer pheno. Mine musts just sucked.

hindu kush x skunk#1 = master kush

far away from OG Kush that has maybe no hindu kush landrace gene in it ...

kush seems to be just a name...for money...alway money...:moon:

agreed! :) europe's "kush" strains are very different from usa kushes. the first are just strains with genetics from hindu kush (mountains... i think afghanistan mostly and pakistan), where kushes from usa are strains deriving from the chem/OG line. i have the impression that the word "kush" in the usa refers to strong ganja, just like people in europe use to say "skunk" for strong (hybridized) weed. i am not sure, it's just the explanation i gave myself to the expression "Ocean Grown kush"... or maybe "kush" because the plant had a more indica look... :dunno:

however, i have a very nice buddha tahoe og from caliconn. 1 fem seed=1 keeper. i must say i am an OG noob :) but i am very happy anyways! mine has a balsamic pine/pinesol (sometimes minty) aroma with a sweet/milky background. i really like it! and now i am trying to explore some OG lines: just bought some Lotus Larry and some Goji OG from Bodhi, i have a very nice cheech wizard cut from a friend (also Bodhi's), I was thinking to get more of these buddha t. og (regs this time, and do a little selection) and i was tempted to "lost coast OG" by emerald triangle... of course for us in europe is more difficult since many of these plants are clone only strains... (suggestions for a nice OG in seed form are more than welcome!)

a couple of shots of my buddha tahoe og... this is the mum, grown with 250W hps, bio nutes, biocanna soil in a 3,6 lt pot. i have 2 nice clones ready to be put in flower ;-) not a big yelder, but with some topping & trining i think it can be improved... on the other hand, nugs are really hard and dense...
