I'm working through a couple ideas
with the PVC frame connected to the pool base.

For now it's a light stand....

Yet... Imagin if you will.

No top pool. Instead a foam cap.
4 level frame. (4 Cross bars x 4)
Built in center frame covered with chicken wire. (Bulb cage)
10 Piss pots per bar = 120. 18" colas per stacked 600s

Sounds were reading the same map and taking
Slightly different paths to get to them monster colas.

I'm shooting for:
From seed to flower pool in 1L air pots.
Needs to streamline and simplify
in order to conquer the complexities
of pheno hunting that 1 in 99 I'm after...

ya I just popped a ton of shit for the phenohunt also.. looking for that SPECIAL STUD. and I need a few new strains for some more variety.. I wasted a lot of time in the beginning of my carreer growing just look for the keepers.. and honestly. back then I thought of keepers as in a better bud then wat is being sold In my AREA.. lol

so now that I have my CheckList.. for Males and separate one for FEMALES. Keepers have went from being found in under 30 seeds.. to not finding what I exactly want in 50 seeds lol.. keep getting pickier and pickier..

butttt everyone I smoke buds with says hey.. the quality has gone up soo much since I first started they are extremely happy about quality.

only problem is.. I find.. the keepers USUALLY don't yield half as good.. as the rest.. so its a real challenge .. I hit great numbers with 4000w I had a final harvest last time of 8 pounds of primo.. and 1 and a lil extra of smaller buds that I gave out for free.

I just want to find a strain or cross that yields huge nugs.. and so far.. the ones I find that are like 2 lite bottles end up being very bland and potency tops off kinda lower then my standards.


good luck man.. and I have nothing against u at all.. just have gotten screwed testing for a few people on other sites that were so called Breeders . then I came to find out they were growing like 20 plants.. n using any male they found to make seeds. and calling themselves breeders.. ended up with a few harvests of hermi seeded bud that put me in a tough spot for a long time.. so this is why I think that breeders and pollenchuckers should have a rating system . I wont talk shit unless its true and I can back it up. I hope u become the next big thing.. but in this business. ur seeds is ur reputation. so we will see what happens.. good luck to ya.

Luck versus Skill..
Being new to growing I lacked skill.
Yet...
Being in a Med state, rich in elite clones
I had the keepers pre chosen and needed only to gain
the skills to grow them effectively...

Thats what I call lucky, because if I had grown some unknown bagseed and got crap for my effort,I doubt I would still be moving forward...

Interesting...
I noticed the same things with the set of different
strains I spent the last 2 years working with...

1st off...
The strains that I played with and made beans from are
Elite Med-Clones,
Meaning that they didnt come from some
dudes garden and bought from craigslist
in a parking lot...lol

I payed x3 for these and x6 for the GSC cut....
The breeder that did the work of finding the keepers.

Had used these mothers to supply many a dispensary
with smoke around these parts for a couple years prior...

When I started growing,
I had no plans on making beans,let alone
offering them to anyone...lol

I wanted... and...
I searched out the best of the best cuts,
I could find which took a few trips to different
shops to find what felt right.

I wanted top shelf smoke for my own use.

I again got lucky in that the dude that
i came across was a guru in every sense of the word
(though I didn't recognize this till later)
and he apparently saw something in me.

You can therefore blame this unknown
breeder for everything I do here...

I got lucky because less than a year
later the rules changed here in cali and
his shop is no more... He is still out there im sure.
I just cant find him...lol

I had a very short window of opportunity
yet I took advantage of it best I could
and got what I really needed...

A spark and the makings of a gene pool....

My highest yielding strain KONG
also has great bag appeal and if I were
only after selling bag appeal monster amounts of bud.

I would simply dial and grow this bad boy to its full potential...

Yet....
Kong is missing that hard hitting party high I like so much...
More of a all day mid shelf mellow high to it...

Nice,but not what im after for a daily smoke.

So 9 lbs of her would get boring real fast
for me as im not interested in selling lbs for $1200-$1600...
To many headaches along the way
for my liking down that path...
To each his own,ya know...

All my best tasting and coolest
high strains yield less than half that of kong
and have much smaller nug formations...

Yet 3 oz off A+++ is worth more to me
that 1 lb of B+ smoke any day.

Im not counting on riding luck

I find that as I go I am setting rules for

and seeing for myself.

One of these rules is Seed stock age.

Im not interested in having seeds let
alone offering seeds that
are more than 3 years old...

Year 1 being the cherry spot
Year 2 a good place
and 3 being simply,ok... IMO

Being im doing everything in a
single 4' x 8' tent and cant afford
to go more than 1800W.
I needed a proving ground and a few people
willing to take a educated chance
and test these crosses out...

Educated chance meaning....
I have posted everything I have done
(Right/wrong~Smart/stupid)
I take the good with the bad and try to post
real time so as to show it is what it is...

I don't like being sad let alone feeling guilty of greediness..

The Idea im selling is simple...

That a community can help shape,educate and elevate
a single member with a desire to learn and share.

I cant achieve my goals nor learn needed
skills in the time/space, I have available by myself...

Would take me 15 years to do what I'm shooting for in 5..

My rule of thumb for pheno hunting will be 99 to 3...

99 seeds popped
2 female keepers
1 male

Working on being able to pop 99 in the space I have ATM...

This is only a test... hahahaha...

One tighter with more branching
Both growing about the same pace as far as height...
Im leaning towards a Sativa and Indica difference but am not quite there yet...

i really would like to hear more breeders with the same point of view.... as of now.. i don't consider myself a breeder.. but i do make lots of seeds. and i work toward goals..

but had an idea to create a community of breeders that will work together and seperatly to create community strains. and there private gear.. honestly i think having 4-5 people with a great genetic pool.. to get together and share there ideas . and techniques.. in order to create a NEW KIND OF SEED COMPANY. that cares more about the community and QUALITY then anything else.. and with that.. and putting out a great product.. comes the reward we are all looking for . so far i have me.. and 1 older dude then me lol. that lets just say hes striving on bringing back the real oldschool shit he grew up smoking!...

have u ever had runts or bad performers. .make it to cloning.. and then have it take off like it was a completely diff plant?

i had a few runts that wen they were big enough to clone. i cloned and tossed the original plant.. and the CLONES performed like 10 times better . i have no clue why or how. but it has happened with 4 different strains.. with the runt .. and the runt was the keeper in 2 of the strains. Weird Right?

I have had this happen with my last Grow. I had a positronics grapefruit that was just a mutant runt for a month. Then I took it and as soon as I up potted it from beer cup straight into a 3 gallon smartie she took off. Every clone I have taken from it roots everytime and don't show no traits like the momma seed plant.. peace mike

I read a great article on this awhile back...
Cant find in now...

It has something to do with unlocking the
survival gene locked in all plants...

Sickly started seedlings have shown time and time
again to outperform healthy raised plants...

The title was something like that...

They were talking more about plants that were at deaths
door and pulled back from the light...

More so that genetically runt-ted plants or plants
that get covered by others and got stunted...
Such as #7....

Tho...
I seem to recall something about highly stressed young plants
doing well as they have more tools to work with.
Coming from hard times to a dialed environment...

Young plants (seedlings)being the key here...
At least that's, what I took from it...



My issue was propagation for most the ones I just pulled.
Slight over wet medium and a
heating pad directly touching the bottom of the tray...

A bad combo...

looks like we think alike...

Im keeping #7 for now to see if I can pull a healthy clone and perhaps see for myself a runt win the race...
Yet for reasons stated above I dont hold
high hope of see magic here.. lol

I tried to save the burnt root plants for
the same reason yet there is only so much space and time...

I love me some retard plants once in a while. It's like hosting the special olympics and trying to get it to the finish line! Lol Mutants and runts some of the best plants I mean look at Dj shorts line sometimes they will pop up some will be fine and some will turn out needing to be culled. My grapefruit I went back and forth in my head a million times if I should cull it then I said the hell with let me up pot and give it another week or two I am glad I had patience because it turned out a great plant. I have one clone in flower I'll take some pics of when I have time. Peace mike
