I'm watching  If you want feed back I suggest asking questions ;) That said you are either over feeding (mainly in flower), or your wet/dry cycles are off.

I had a really sour leaning pheno of sour Jack that looked similar to the bud in the last pic... it smelled and tasted exactly sour d but I couldn't for the life of me get it to swell up like I thought it should. not like it didn't yield ok, but the bu ds werer just always whispy. I tried feeding heavier/ lighter.com tried letting it go past 11 weeks but nothing could get it to plump up so I let it go. lookin good:biggrin:

sweet, thanks guys...

I think my wet dry cycle could be off.. I am bad at watering and timing it correctly... I run organic soil so I don't think I am necessarily over feeding but the watering issue definitely doesn't help me at all...

otis, I think I am going to have the same problem with this girl.. that little bit of haze is keeping her from getting nice and dense...

Ideally your plant should need water every 1-2 days in organic soil. If it takes longer for your plant to dry out, wait until it is, then water less the next time until you get it dialed for your room. Hard to explain what "dry" is, but if you have ever bought bagged soil, right out of the bag would usually be considered dry. Alternatively, you could get a tensiometer like bobble. That would allow you to see exactly when you need to water .

thanks bro, that's about how often I water...

I just have trouble telling how "dry" the soil is inside the pot... it is easy to visually see how dry the soil is... lol

I need to start doing like snype and weighing the pots on a scale to see if they need to be watered...

I'm sure a bathroom scale is cheaper than a tensiometer lol

picking them up by hand is not accurate enough... and the plants in the back of the flower cab tend to feel heavier because I have to reach all the way back and they are usually trellised down somewhat so they feel heavier than they really are...

don't close it down. im watching atleast lol. iunno man seems like ever since the new member came to ic.. icmag has gone from GREAT to EHH OK.

Sour. I did the bathroom scale.. make sure u get the digital .. and make sure the one u get goes low enough.. the first scale I grabbed wouldn't weigh anything below 20 pounds.. it was weird. had to exchange it..

but I used a scale for about 2 or 3 grows.. then I could guesstimate just by lifting the pots.. I realized. if u can let ur plants DRY out without Drooping.. in between EVERY watering.. ive had FASTER veg Growth.. and cut down on flowering time a few days.

I dislike GHS but ill tell u 1 thing Greenhouse seed co videos have taught me.. is if u watch the way they water.. they flush with nutes and not plain water. and they flush before flower.. and like 3 times during flower.. and again at harvest.. and since I started doing this.. ive seen huge improvements in plant health.. and overall plant health is what will help achieve bigger and better lookin buds.

don't get me wrong.. there was a time wen I first started growing.. were I was like these dudes are kings lol. and I was like damn I wish I could do that shit.. go around to all the countrys and pick seeds out of the best looking plants.. and breed with them...

then wen I saw they were using only fem seeds. it turned me off.. ive tried a few kinds.. and ill pop the freebies I get from them... but man I was wrong lol.. and a lot of newbs see the GHS co website and how he wins mad Cups.. and makes killer amounts of cash.. and think that's wat im working towards. THATS MY GOAL.. and I realized shit.. this dude rigs the cups.. 1 .. other people are growing his testgrows.. and others are making his seeds. and hes more into putting out clothing then GENETICS.. and then I watched more of his strain hunter crap.. and realized wat he was doing.

Aryan came up with a SCAM in the form of a GIFT to the local farmers were he travels.. give them FEM SEEDS. so they have hermi tendensys and u can water down EVERY PLACE in the worlds GENETIC POOL so no1 can get LANDRACE GENETICS EVER AGAIN.. just by handing out free seeds.. so he trades his fem beans to farmers.. and the farmers end up with hermis instead of males.. and then they cant use the seed for next crop without watering down the genetics YEAR after YEAR..

so out of the millions of posts and videos from GHS the only thing I do .. is the way they flush before flower . during flower.. and then a str8 water at the end. is working GREAT for ME.

but wen I realized he was fucking everyone of the new guys that want to become breeders.. I said FUCK GHS. and FUCK ARYAN

yeah I feel you bro, it's different with organic soil... only thing I ever give them besides plain water is a compost tea or a little pro-tekt (silicon).. all nutes are in the soil for me...

I feel you on the drying out without drooping... that does seem to be key...

and agreed with everything said about greenhouse... hate to say it but they are scammers... sadly a large portion of this community is.. and that is why we still have a bad image... along with prohibition but that just fuels the fire for scammers...

in other news, a new round of BKGK Bx1 was flipped... 15" or so plant recieved it's own 5 gal smarty (not completely filled)... hoping plant stretches it's usual 1.5-2x and finishes at perfect height with a good amount of buds on it...

I yielded 12 g out of a 1/4 gal container...

what do you guys think a good goal is to set for this one, using a 150w HPS?

I don't like to set goals for total weights but more so per plant... if that makes sense...

looking good man! I have seen 150W micro grows do some amazing things on this site so I could only imagine combined with larger pots you will get much better yields. Organics def the way to go. Less bugs, less work, and better product.

I think u should be able to pull a quarter pound per harvest with a 150 up to about 8 ounces .. if u do it right.. honestly.. if u need any suggestions just ask. I haven't switched to vert yet.. but im really trying to do this. vert thing.. but my veg room didn't help lol I added a bunch of side lighting. and my plants stayed extremely bushy an small so its horizontal till I can TREE GROW again .

Alter is spot on... I'm a vert newbe and was able to pull a QP from my first vert 150w run.

4 ladies all in 1 gal pots.
Tap water, Maxibloom & calmag.
Approx 1 oz per plant

Just takes some time dialing things in and learning the strains your working with :).

thanks bro... side lighting kinda fucks up veg for vert... you need the plant to focus on grow up and not out.. that's why DHF recommends not topping vert plants... either way, you will find what works best for you... thanks for the offers...

i'm sorry but what is your question?

were both newbs bro, you just did a better job! and my perpetual keeps me from ever finding out what the total weight was hahaha...

yeah strains play a huge role...

bud do you just have 1 cab?

seems like you run quite a few strains for only 4 plants in a cab

Yup just one cab :)
Right now it's getting cleaned out for my next run - the white lotus testers!!!

I have a small area for early veg, but do the majority of veggin in the vert cab to fill the space, which hugely helps with yield.

Peace,
Budelight

right on dude, should be sweet to watch you do another run...

so you never keep clones/mommas? you just keep testing new stuff out?

Also, how long of a veg do you usually do for your cab?

how long in veg and how long of a pre-veg in flower cab before they actually get flipped?

ya the hole 1 gram a watt is tough to hit.. I mean strain plays the biggest role.. and environment .. then plant count.

sadly, I have no more babies... I closed shop and gave away the baby girls to a friend...

thanks to everyone who kept this thread going and helped me through the way...

I will take all these experiences and learn from them for next time...

I already can't wait to get growing again...
