Personally I have been noticing the quality going way down. I can grow better then anything I have seen in the clubs and this makes me wonder why? headband 707

these clubs you talk about....are these growers not mass producing their crops also.....

yes it sucks you cant grow your own NOW

but if you stay under the radar and keep the plant count LOW...

you won't have to worry...

IMHO things will be a lot different in a year or 2...there will be 2 markets...

1- black market weed( growers will still grow there kush and what everyone thinks is good weed)

2- the legal medicine market- where IF you have proper documentation...you will be able to get MANY MANY MANY different strains to smoke...and a reasonable cost

The only people who are upset are the ones who aren't making 100K tax free every year from growing...because they have to stop...some people have to go out and get jobs lol

come on GS...you can't tell me that most people are upset over this change because it has CLOSED THE DOOR ON A REVENUE STREAM....

yea anytime gov't puts their hands in something they fuck it up...i don't disagree...but things needed to change...

IT WAS THE WILD WEST and I am personally happy that there are at least significant moves forward in the plant we all LOVE

so medical needs are only the ones who go through the hoops of the system? lots of folks say fuck the doctor. and buy there weed from whom ever does not mean it is not being used medically that is a personal choice that no one can make but oneself....
There maybe folks profiting but there are folks doing good things out there too, folks already grow 120 day sativas for years.Varietals? what makes you think some commercial grower will be given all these long flowering sativas? Whats to say they can even grow them, takes years to learn plants especially long flowering varietals.....Dont need no program to tell me what i love to grow or make me grow a certain way because of this or that why are your buds just starting to grow long sativas? Some of us just grow and thats it medical recreational whateves I am not the one confused they are... Life is not a box to be filled mucho more complex....

Saw a guy at the growshop a while back waving around his 180+ plant script like it was a lotto ticket AND even told me he is going to continue growing after March 31....his buddy who "hooked" him up had him convinced manditory min's won't apply after March31..

A real winner..low on the IQ scale IMHO....

Nothing like giving the address of your grow out by showing randowm people your PPL licence.

IMO, the people who were making 100k+ exploiting the program love the changes on the horizon. These guys were likely the same people feeding the black market before the program and will turn that 100K+ a year into 150-200K+ a year on the black market once the pricing corrects itself after the fall off come summer of next year.

The people this will hurt most are the people who genuinely need the medicine.

You don't get criticized for doing anything for money in this society. You get criticized for doing things too inexpensively or interfering with government control.

God bless anyone who grows. The bad growers make the good growers look better, but the world still needs about 100x more cannabis.

I think all GOVERNMENT officials should be investigated before a single Dr. that recommends a non toxic herb.

Also MOST random people wont turn into armed robbers because the know the location of your grow, location of your sports car, location of your jewelry, etc.

The argument that cannabis causes property crime is a FALSE FLAG from the government. Let's be part of the solution by overgrowing, instead of part of the problem by validating their immoral laws and systems.

any wannabe LP's would be wise to get a binding contract with turnaround time limitations for their batch tests/lab work
hell investing in a test lab may turn a more reliable profit than producing
if you cant test you cant sell there is gonna be a bit of a bottleneck with the limited number of labs and the amount of tests required

wrong again....from what i know of the chosen companies on the current list...they are ALL able to test their products..otherwise they wouldn't have been given the green light

I hear you. My point is all government systems are flawed and inefficient. The unexpected consequences of government regulation are often much worse than no regulation at all IRRESPECTIVE of WHY the improper governmental control is enacted.

All government programs should be gone.

And I agree with you it is irresponsible to show and tell strangers, even if you have tight on site security.

I am VERY upset, and far from being either rich or a dealer, and I bet a dollar to a donut there are far more like me than pissed off dealers out 100k/yr.

People are making profit selling bows for 1200 in BC.

That's just a bit under $2.70 a gram.

Don't see any LP offering it at that price. When you start throwing in CEO, CFO, PhD you'll have to sell it for 7-8 just to break even.

Either way, I'm done with growing. Retiring in April. Leaving Canada for a while to explore the world.

MMAR was a godsend for some.

My guess is 5-6 plants will be allowed for patients. You're right. A lot of patients can't afford to buy the meds. The govt says go to your doctor and get something else (don't shoot the messenger). I think the courts will say 5-6.
