Normally, I'd agree with you but we saw Morgan holding down a whole town by himself. He figured out how to keep the hoard at bay with rats in cages and pointy sticks not to mention that he acquired quite a cache of food and weapons from intruders all by his crazy lonesome.

Yeah Morgan turned out to be one innovative motherfucker.

I read the first four book collections. Yeah! The comic is better! In the tv show, blood and gore is the draw for some. To me, it's the brutality a human can resort to, to survive! Look for some back and forth between Michonne and the gov!

Totally agree, some crazy shit went down in the comics that would never make it on the show for being too fucked up.

I would have liked to have seen Morgan join the group! But IIRC, Morgan just had the one street (1 or 2 blocks long) secured. His traps were brilliant, but they wouldn't be able to stand up to hundred's of zombies at once.

Morgan is batshit crazy and he lost his boy. Depending on booby-traps is weak.

Crazy people are worst than the zombies.

Isn't that sweet! A little father-son bonding while slaughtering zombies!

"Here, dad," Carl tosses Rick a fresh magazine, "Use these rounds, they make their heads explode like a melon!"

Rick, "Thanks son! Tomorrow, we'll go down to the crick and catch some crawdad's!" Then says to himself, "My little boy is (sniff) growing up!"

Carl, "Gee, dad! That would be cool! Can I bring some dynamite?"

"Ruh roh, Reorge! Heeee's baa-aaack!" (I've heard of a mixed metaphor, but a mixed quote?) Just when Michonne was about to give up looking for the Gov'na, guess who shows up?

The group is falling apart. Sickness is creating zombies from within the prison. Daryl is going to be really pissed at Rick for exiling Carol and might even leave to go look for her. Worse than that, Tyrese is going be really pissed at Officer Friendly for letting her go! The fences are failing and I still think the gov has something to do with the zombie-palooza! Speaking of which, I only saw 4 tents at his campsite, in next weeks preview. So, he obviously doesn't have the firepower he had at Woodbury. Whatever shall a villain do?

Just my opinion, but what impresses me most about the show is the sound track! Well, that...and how much the censors let them get away with! :D

Just a personal note: Kudo's to Scott Wilson (the guy who plays Herschel). He had a great performance on last night's show!

Saw episode 4 last night. Last week, I thought Darrel was going to get with Carol, then this week he was hanging around Michonne, and I thought maybe that was the way he was going. I was wondering who it will be, will they fight over him.....
Rick sorted that question out for me, Bye Carol.
Poor limping Hippie chick.

During season 2 (imho...the great soap opera fiasco season!), I was confused about where Daryl and Carol's relationship was going. But, during the early part of season 3 when Daryl and Carl were clearing the other cell blocks, he was trying to comfort Carl by telling him how his own mother died. It dawned on me then, that Daryl saw Carol as more of a mom (and she, a son) than a sexual partner. Yeah! Daryl's not going to be happy with Officer Friendly for kickin his "mom" out of the group!

As a matter of fact, I expect Daryl and Beth to get something going sometime this season (as per one of the producers on Talking Dead early this year's episodes)! I don't see Michonne (or Rick for that matter) having any partners other than the occasional f**k buddy. She's gonna spend most of her time huntin' Gov'na meat for supper!

"Unhnn unnhn agggnnn urgggguuuhn uhn!" Zombie-speak for, "These guts taste like shit!"

I wish it would build up like something big was gonna happen but right before they go to war michone sneaks into the camp and slices his head in half and then sneaks out. Then it just goes back to the prison and leaves govs group story alone and open.

I only caught the ending. It does look a bit like the show it's trying to gain the audience sympathy for governor, like a reminder about how all the characters held a vendetta or killed some one for little to no reason at some point. The governor though, has a unique penchant for executing people then putting them zombies in water, be it an aquarium or pond. Which makes it seem a bit like he is a bit more off the deep end than the others? Maybe even morgan

At the end. It looks like the gov is going to shoot michone, or use the tank to break in to the prison. I am guessing they would not have showed that if it is going to happen? But then again.

well we will find out next week if Michonne or the Dr get it from the govanator.. He is defiantly a lose cannon he needs to be zombified for sure .....

If any thing, michone will leave the group. After all, the others do not seem so suited for the survival tactics she has. But I also thought that Shane would have been better off on his own.

I think we are a week or 2 behind here in the UK. Fridays episode was the Gov meeting the chick from "The Unit" and her family.

I'm going to be pissed off if they (Team WD) give the gov redemption after denying it to Merle last series. It certainly looks like they are heading that way, giving him a family to protect.

It does look like they are showing a soft side of the gov that flutters up to help the unit, and reach out to them. yet he is mainly hardened off to the zombie world, it is just a matter of time before he strikes again. The question is what will he see at the end of the tunnel

I can't remember what happened to Merle? I thought he was bit after the gov had him captured

Yeah, he got bit, the gov left him to turn, and Daryl found him turned and so caved his head in. Sad scene, with some excellent acting from Norman Reedus.

I think they said this coming Sunday's episode was the Mid-Season finale? "Gone Too Far"

All of season #4 reruns starting Sunday afternoon.

I think the show bites now.

Seasons 1 & 2 were awesome,
but season 3 was just so-so.

Now I have no interest in watching.

the show reiterates the same thing over and over...the zombies are a minor problem..

...it's those other people are the big problem :shucks:
