Record yield for me, with coco..

Well Ive always heard it.. that hydro and coco yield like no other..

Ive always grown in organic soil.. a friend talked me into throwing in some coco.. i took 6 2gal soil plants and put them in 7gal smart pots with half coco and half soil..
avg yield from a 1k watter is 24-28z dried zones, this time I got 44 zones.. and thats from multistrain... half coco and half soil, lol..
Needless to say Ill be running coco again very soon.. but this time Ill run straight coco and my highest yielder.. no doubt in my mind Ill break 3 elbows per 1k, easily..

Unfortunately this is the only pic I have of that crop..
Right before the flip.. tent is 5x5 and the canopy stretched from one end to the other.. every inch was covered
Ran 6 7gal ladies, half soil half coco..hand watered.. vegd to 2' above soil and each plant had a 2 or 3' canopy..ran 4 diff strains.. each produced 6-8 dried zones..

I believe it was botanicare coco..

this wasnt a sog or a scrog.. I just try and get a perfect canopy with topping and pinching.. usually it works out pretty well.. I pinch the jumpers the first few weeks of flower as well..

yup, 2.75lbs from a horizontal 1k with multistrains and half soil half coco, far from dialed in.. I think itll be easy to hit 3 elbows in pure coco, dialed in, with 1 strain..

In coco I like GH Flora 6ml micro/9ml bloom. But, I'm a cheap fuck so I've been using Maxibloom for everything. (Coco and DWC) The only additive I use in coco is Drip Clean. It's probably snake oil, but I use it anyway.

You can definitely go down a few pot sizes with the coco. No need for 7 gallons.

Here are four 3.5 gallon ladies in a scrog. 100% coco, Canna Nutes. 3 lbs on this one.

Im not familiar with canna nutes, Im guessing theres several different bottles to get...? which do you guys use?

I use Canna coco A&B, Cannazyme, PK 13/14 and Boost.

You can get by without the Boost if need be, it's stupid expensive at 100 bucks a liter.

That's pretty much the whole line minus Rhizotonic. I use H&G roots excell instead.

Now, if you put those in Hempy buckets, they will get even bigger, and no need for large buckets with coco as others have mentioned. That way you can increase plant numbers in same space. Also, always use Rhizotonic (or H&G) with coco in the beginning as it stimulates root growth. Canna nutes are fine, but I have switched to Maxibloom (K.I.S.S. method) for simplicity and cost, and getting results equal to Canna, although some might argue that Canna nutes bring out nice odors from the plants. To make up for this, I use Florilicious+ and also Boost for increased growth. Boost is expensive, but you can make your own, as the active ingredient is Triacontanol, which is cheap. Get it @ Mbferts.com. Apply throughout grow, veg & flower. I also add Bloombastic for a flower booster and increased trichomes. Water/feed daily to run off for maximum results. The fresh oxygen really makes a difference.

If that ? was for me, it was about 18 inches from a 600 watt Gavita.

This was in a room with five lights so it was getting the benefit of side/overlapping light.
