there are various bubble gums ?

from leafly :
Originally the Bubble Gum was developed by growers in Indiana, USA. From there the genetics moved to New England and eventually Holland.
I know only one bubble gum and it's from serious seeds

I guess there is bubblelicious from nirvana too

bubblegum is a real nice strain, not sure I would grow tons of it, but when it's on the market, it's always a nice treat

it usually has a very nice smell, very nice looks, okay taste, and okay high

Id grow old time bubblegum from mosca. If I was to chose a bubblegum now. Clone only bubblegum with djs moonshine. Sounds like a treat:)

Some real nice phenos in bogglegum sum done in 7wks.... But the ibg clone is the shit.... Lost mine but it's straight pink bubblegum where as others I tried were more grapey.... Personally if I had to pick seeds I'd go bogglegum.... Best chance on finding the bubblegum tasting and smelling plants....

I've had Serious Seeds BG. Only two of the pack had the pink bubblegum smell. Kinda lost it in the cure somehow. Changed to a more creamy aroma. One of the two was a pure runt. Still have a second pack to go.

Bogglegum is NL x Bubblegum. Not exactly the same thing. Still highly appreciated by those who grow it, but I'm just sayin'.

Serious Seeds is probably the only one that has the true IBL-ness that Bubblegum is supposed to exhibit. You plant those seeds, there won't be too much pheno-sorting. SS Bubblegum is in my top 3 strains of ALL TIMES. Fantastic, dependable, and able to be grown from seed without worrying about pheno selection.

I just asked Claude recently if anything has changed with that strain in the past 15 years and he said it will be exactly as I remembered it from back then. I'll be ordering some on my next seed order.

I'm a little late to the party but I also run SS bubblegum. They're great plants. All the phenos were nice so I just ended up keeping the heavy yielder which also happen to have nicest bud structure. A true winner imo. Why fiddle with other breeders when you have the SS version?

TH Seeds are said to have a more indica leaning genetic line. Their stock is supposed to be siblings from the same stock like the ones from Serious Seeds but a different selection, what i recall. So someone looking for a pure bubblegum might have to look into that.

Maybe you got lucky. (Or I got unlucky)
There were only two in my pack that smelt of bubblegum, one mildly and one very strongly. The one was really good, but frankly I expected more than 1 plant when I bought the pack!

You're absolutely right. I'm such a sativa person that my mind automatically places those lines in the crap category despite them probably being good for an indica lover. My mistake.

No problem, though the outcome from a SS pack wasn't that much sativa leaning. Looked more like some elongated indies. BTW i'm such an indica loving person. Can't have that heart racing stuff even if some of them taste very good but i'm getting uncomfortable most of the times i'm on a sativa trip.
