Like cinder block they build basements out of? 12 inch block? crushed up I'd guess....

Lava and rice hulls for me.... the Napa floor dry is just diatomacious earth... I got some of that as well, but the "soil perfector" Yort is referring to looks VERY promising....

ok...after thinking....probably to-much....is "Cinders'..... Bio-Char....
as in cinders from the fire pit....
I'm currently using....bio-char as a amendment....

Bio-char = IE: organic hard wood charcoal.... soaked and crumbled....
along w/ good fire pit ash, and char.....

You'll get the most from Bio-Char by inoculating it with microbes...... if you mix char into your worm bins it makes an ideal microbe habitat and will supercharge your rhizosphere

Red and black lava rock (cinders) is a very good for an organic soil, as is pumice rock.
They never need to be re-added and last seemingly forever.
All cheap, stores both moisture and O2, and is especially good at sheltering micro beasties.

Rice hulls and chopped straw work well, but needs some re-amending during recycling.

Hey Minions! Quick look at my Nocturnal. I don't have the room to bloom her yet. But the seed I took this cut from is in my flower room. Until my Blackout Kush is done she will stay in veg under training.

You should enjoy it when done.

The 2 Noc females I grew were both delicious.
Can't get enough of those grape and berry tones.
All yielded generously ;) high a solid 9 of 10 scale.

Few late flower nanners, but pretty cosmetic.
Leave them be until trim time, as they don't open unless disturbed.
