with biovega gotta feed into week 3 of flower.. so u don't get the early yellowing.. basicly u use vega and flower.. together at week 3.. so 2 weeks with vega in flower..
i always use bio-vega at least 2 weeks into bloom unless the strain dictates otherwise, then straight onto a small of bio flores,my guess would be that the ph is out for starters,,good luck,,,s2

Granger - fair point. Yes my tap water as in mains tap water is about 7.5

Is it not the case that mains tap is generally 6.5+

This is the first time I've had to deal with fungus gnats. The bags of bio terra plus are full of the little bastards. I'll never buy bio terra plus again. a few days after I opened the bags there where hundreds of gnats. I just put the plants into bigger pots to see if it would help, The roots look healthy and white. I probably did overwater a few times when I applied the vectobac. Wanted to be sure it got a good soak. My real worry is why the lower leaves are going crispy and discolored. time will tell I guess. I hope they can make it another 6-7 weeks
Damn bonus bullshitzel in mediums, you would think Canna of all people would not have this issue.

so now all the plants are doing the same thing, checked my runoff and its coming out at 5.8-6.0 on all the plants. seems a bit low, but the bio-terra bag says its ph buffered to 5.5-6.1 I'm stumped as to where to go from here... been reading on a few other forums and everyone says to feed every watering, maybe I've just been starving them. The low runoff ph is freaking me out a bit though. is this normal for biocanna? I think maybe I've been underfeeding them, so I gave them a feed tonight. I've never seen a nutrient that lowers ph as much bio flores. This is my first time using an organic line part of me thinks its a low ph problem but if ph doesn't matter with this line then I must have under fed them. I know the southern lights could take an ec of 2.2 no problem when I was using gh nutes.

U probably right, will all the advice u got here and what u did, u pretty much set to know what's happening. I always have some worm casting and dolomite in my soil, this help a lot when using bottled "organic" nutrients :)

Bio canna.Follow their feeding recs for the most part, download a feeding chart. As for the Bio-Vega, just go full strength from the start, and increase to 10-12ml. by late veg. Then simply add half strength(7-8ml) to the formula round 2nd week of flowering. A week later, raise to full strength of Flora(16ml). Then, a week later you can remove the Vega, and add a lil’ Phos boost with Humboldt nutes bloom 0-10-0, or natures nectar. A little soluble seaweed at 1 tsp./5gl. from mid through late flowering helps for micros. You'll also need CaMag, General Organics is OK.
Start using the boost once you start flowering, added to the grow, then bloom all the way to the end. 5ml at first, then 10ml, then 15ml for a week or two of the heaviest flower growth. Then Back down to 10ml of boost to finish.
Also, use an enzymatic product from begining to end. Oh yeah, with a pH like that, you're good to go. If the pH of your nutrient solution starts dropping below 5.5 you will want to adjust back up to 6.0.

Thanks, It turned out to be under feeding. Once I started feeding with every watering things bounced back quickly. These are looking to be the healthiest plants I've grown yet.
