Busted....I need a good canna lawyer

Well I'll start off with my little rant...
In my case it was a clear violation of my civil rights. What a man does in his home, provided it doesn't hurt or impact others in the home or elsewhere should be left the fuck alone in my opinion. Seems its not just my opinion...as it's also states that pretty clearly in the Canadian Charter.
We can brew our own wines and beers, nobody bats an eye....grow yourself some weed...everyone loses their fuckin' minds.
Nobody came snooping around my house because they heard I was selling dime bags to lil' Jonny at the school yard...they invaded my privacy for no other reason then to stir shit.
....that would have went on much, much longer but it's starting to get personal.
What I've learned...
You're not immune
This didn't happen to me because I fucked up, had a falling out, poor odour control or any other reason other then bad timing. Yes I said bad timing. If I hadn't went golfing I would have answered the door when CAS showed up...and told them to fuck off immediately. So the first (and most important) thing I've learned is your either gonna get caught doing this...or ya ain't. But regardless of if you are or aren't...be prepared.
Don't skimp on a lawyer
After destroying the CAS worker and the first cop on the stand, the court took a small break. My lawyer looked at the Crown and asked "Who you calling up next?" Since it was just a few cops left to call up the Crown comes back with "This one or this one..." My lawyer says "no, no...pick him first..."I'm going to have fun with him"
The crown knew it was game over at that point and pulled the plug....i'll never forget the looks on those stupid cops faces...
Marco wasn't kidding...i've had lawyers...not one was of this caliber. Bulldog was right...if I ever needed her again...I'd pay double her rate...and wouldn't flinch.
Don't lose your cool
This is alot harder then it sounds...I'm a pretty passive dude compared to what I was like in my twenty's. Shit that never used to bother me ....realllllly started to bother me.
It's the stress I was under. Find a way to combat this stress. It almost got the best of me more then once.
Plan for your future
I've had well over a year to plan what I thought were going to be "my next moves". Instead I thought some more and devised a "life plan". (for better lack of a term) Matter o' fact I closed the deal with a realitor the day before my trial began...and now that I'm not longer on bail....I can move there without having to tell the cops lol.
Also means I can start doing grow logs n' whatnot.
This is what I've taken away from this experience. It's not meant to be advice as every situation is different. Now if you'll excuse me...I've beans to crack, n' lights to stack
