Congratulations to Peace Naturals. Chefboy, what size of a facility do they operate? Seems strange that there is no product menu available for viewing by anyone visiting their site.

Seriously way over priced even vs chemical pain killers. Say people get 3 joints out of a gram and they need 6 per day. That's $540-720 per month LOL. Sorry but only a few people can afford that per month hence why people wanted to grow, no no not the 35,000 but the 2000K or so that had their license before the docs started to cash in.

Now that I think about it the more I can see a resurgence of the mom and pop grows growing a few lights (2x 600/1000) and dealing themselves. Even at $120-140 per oz they way under cutting the commercial medis and still make killer $$$$$.

No one knows if there might be a DIN for mj in a couple years, it would certainly make it a competitive medicine. Docs will simply say: try mj, if you can afford it - here is a prescription for generic opiates, etc.

Aside from the fact that without standardization HC will never give it 1.
Hell even if they could standardize I'm pretty sure HC still wouldn't unless forced to.
But, fact is it doesn't need a DIN, n shouldn't have 1 cause it's a natural health product so it needs a NPN so it can be considered safe, n marketable, n ready for shelves.
It's the only thing we need along with killing the CDSA.
After that it's all gravy.

Why were the guys you know planning on export only? and to where?
The current average daily legal consumption rate averages out to 14-15grams per day out of 35000 med users, 188189Kg per year.
50-70% of medical cannabis consumers are on a fixed income disability pension.
Thousands of sick and dying who legitimately need and use at least 5g/day are not going to be able to afford it, not even close at $5/g, thats another mortgage, or just about 90% of the average disability payment...
The sickest and the poorest get the biggest shaft once again.

I believe Chimera said here that he knew of some groups working on standardization, monograph, etc for DIN approval, HC has also mentioned it in their draft reg background info.
Its interesting how similar the relevant Natural Health Products Regulations are to the MMPR. I'm still optimistic this is the way it will go with "medicinal" grade cannabis.

I don't know the specifics since I'm not too involved in the CPL system but they were both excited originally about selling to potential petients in Canada and over the last few months, when they talked about exporting and what was allowed as a CPL they had a big grin on their face. So looks like other more profitable avenues have been discovered in the regulations.
Another thing I heard and take with as you like, is that eventually the gov wants to reduce the amount of THC in the weed and have a high percentage of the medi chemicals which will eventually be used to make pills/drugs and the CPLs will be crop farms.
6 dollars a gram from the new one...plus taxes I would imagine..12 strains to choose from if the website is wrong.
These companies do realize they won't see any sales most likely till March 31st from 99.99% of the population.
IE you register....your other licences get revoked......so why would anyone register early.

Yeah I've contemplated many a times the gov trying to say if you're only sick n need meds than we'll just supply you with cbd laden ditch huff, n if it's not good enough than you must just be looking to get high n not realy sick.
Especially with the cbd fad what it is yet.
Same time I know that nature don't make mistakes that last, n evolution certainly doesn't so if the cbd was that usefull for so many it'd still be right where it started n thc would be next to unheard of much less known about.
Might be great for some, but sure aint the answer for many more imo, cause if ppl don't want to be "high" on weed for we reason most would just use the alternatives.
We know thier thinking processes aren't based on reality or logic as much as biased idologies.
But, in the end I think the biggest obstacle to this would be the only salvation we have of the actual market, and the fact that no matter what they say or like or don't like or want or don't want they'll still never have the right to force it upon me, n fact is my med chemical IS thc so they've got fuck all to dictate about it to me or anyone else who feels the same.
Besides not like sativex n marinol or we the fuck they call all that crap isn't already here anyhow.
Most patients don't want it as it is ontop of the absurd pricing of it.

ex. laws create problems, gangs supply demand, violence and terror stem from this root, then we spend all our money and energy focussing on the symptoms like gangs and violence. where are the people that realize the laws are the root and source of all symtoms. this is a universal law...
apply it to the mmar. reforming growers will solve all problems lol haha. does anyone realize how many more symptoms/problems will be created with the new paradigm? we are going to have another 2008 in bc soon. when all the 100-500 lighters will soon become illegal again, and very very dangerous.
can terminal people just sue health canada for lifetime grow cards? the poor and sick will be taking the biggest hit for sure. i dont see anything getting fixed, and everything more broken then ever

That's the first article listed when searching for them since their site is bare, I guess all the money went to the lawyers.
What I find really amazing is how if you grow this plant with out a license you get some insane mandatory sentences while approved companies can grow it for profit. Talk about government approved/protected profits.
