Sublimator and Why Vaping is Doing Concetrates

Oh yeah i'm sure by time this unit will improove much more.
I just asked if you already new the specyfic process in order to find out if it's something really new, or it's just a very good vaporizer.

Which is/are the main differences between the sublimator and other vaporizers (like arizer extreme Q, De verdamper, volcano etc)?

To be truthful, it seems no one really understands completely the process. Time will explain. Weird though, I bet most folks would never be able to explain how a microwave works, yet they use one every day. The science of it ,seems more for those nay sayers dealing in semantics and trying to make the unit look bad, before they have even tried it.

There is a difference between someone who uses a Microwave trying to explain it, and the actual sublimator dude bot being able to explain his product... I'm sure the dude who invented the microwave can tell you exactly how ir works.


The sublimator seems like a great unit, but sublimation is when a sold goes DIRECTLY into a gas, skipping the liquid phase.

Vaporization in general is like this. DO you ever get liquid? No.

I kinda not a huge fan of regular vaping , but sublimator is the real deal, I have made a few folks "green out". I think why I like it so much is cause u can do a weed n oil or bubble blast concurrently , pretty much best ever.
I have yet to smoke the sublimate , still stackin

Just my two cents on it.
Lookin at videos (never seen one in real life) i can see the unit employes a metal bowl with little holes over it to let air pass through the herbs.
It just seems they found a way to make vaporization more efficient.(it is a very inefficient process with the nowadays units like volcano or verdamper)
To make vap. more efficient they use a direct-contact induction bowl, a finer hole diffusor and fine calibrated air inlet holes.

I think the principal problem with classical vaps. is the time in wich the hit is being generated from the herbs in the bowl.
I mean during the timelapse of the hit the hot air meets resistance from the herbs (humidity etc) cooling and loosing cannabinoid delivery. A proof of this is that with every vaporisator on market you get the first hits very flavourful but almost no high, then a less flavourful hit but a better high, then "cooked" flavor and low high. Meaning that the system is inefficient cause it delivers during the first hit only the low-weight molecules, and it will need more time and temperature to deliver the cannabinoids, but when the system finally release cannabinoids the terpenes are gone, so you wont get a complete experience but a partial hit.

I want to smoke terpenes and cannabinoids at the same time!

In the sublimetor i suppose they understood this and made improvements to get a more fast and complete hot air passage in the bowl zone.

Last anedoctal thing to prove vaporizators are inefficient is that I need lots of herbs more than smokin it in a RooR. I mean if i smoke 1 gram in a RooR i am really High. If i smoke the same 1gr in the best vaporizer on market (volcano, verdamper) i almost feel nothing.

Let's see if i put 1g in a Subli what happens! One day...

All this just to say that even if i find the Sublimator awesome (its always good when tech and stoners meets) i really doubt it actually "sublimate" cannabinoids....
Seems just another cool marketing name.

Oh and did anybody notice the conical shape of the Sublimator's bowl?
I bet this is what we call "Venturi", dont know if there is an english term for it.

It should moltiplicate the drag that you generate with your lungs meaning a high pressure differential between you and the bowl, much higher pressure than just a regular bowl at least.

This to have a more instantaneous hot air passage in the bowl zone.
When hot air passes through with a high pressure that sucks from the bong, she will cool less and deliver the majority of cannabinoids and terpenes at the same time.

yepp venturi power is part of the trick, been using a prototype since march and it still gets me higher then anything else, i was mostly a doobbie man before i got this vape i have try'd most all of them and this is the one.....

This turned into a decent discussion...Vaporizers in general are either inefficient or boil away terpenes before cannabinoids.

While this product sounds great as described I won't pay that much for any glass piece or vaporizer. Hitting the proper size/shape glass slide with a heat gun through an ice-chilled bong gives thick, tasty vapor hits.

I've always thought this thing looked like a watered down enail that you can use to smoke flower with too. Does it even have digital temp control? For concentrates a domeless nail is infinitely better, especially for bubble.

I'm sure they work great, just saying unless you need the sublimator to smoke flowers there are better products on the market to dab with. They have better nails and digital temp controls so you set em to exactly the temp you want. Highly educated enail kicks ass, as does the bhomb box, retti nail, oil coil, etc. Many offer choices between ti and quartz. I own a dnail and it kicks ass. All of these have domeless nails on em too so if you want to smoke bubble you can sit a screen on top and vape bubble onto the screen. Domeless nails allow you to use a carb caps too. More air restriction means you can lower temps to the point where without the carb cap you wouldn't even get a hit, yet you get huge rips and a much tastier hit.

At least put some a digital temp controller on the thing they cost like 20 bucks on alibaba..

One more thing about the nails. Have you compared the reclaim to what comes from the Sublimator? Guarantee you the nail reclaim tastes like combusted material , hmm wonder why. Peace GS
