Hi,Im looking for more info or some pics from this line, but can't find any.

Cannabis Afghanica - landrace Afghani Kush - the name says it all. Most people confuse the lanky and viney afghani kushes with "sativas" and indicas (from india). 10,000 years at least of selective breeding by hashmakers. Real "trainwrecky" plant - a true Afghani Hashplant. Lemon, fuel, skunk, earthy kush and very vigorous. Heavy tops that like to flop, so make sure to use nets, screens cages etc. Powerful head and body. Great for breeding.

:thank you:

Hell yeah I've been wanting to see some pics of this one for a long time.

It's hard to find a good representation of pure afghan lines these days.

When you say kush, do you mean OG Kush or (mountain) kush?

I wouldn't have thought 'trainwreck' 'lanky' and 'viney' would be descriptors for any type of old world kush. These sound very interesting if its a landrace ghani. Ive been looking for one that carries the dankier smells than those sweet fruity aromas.

hey cannivore

sweet name, love bill hicks too

to be honest, lanky and trainwreckt are the most hashplants from the mountains that i have seen. rock hard, squat tops. very dank, skunky, fuely

Cool, I dont have much experience with strains like these. I was always under the impression the mountainous kush strains were short, squat, broadleafs with minimal branching and exquisite hash production. Guess I something mixed up haha.

Only two packs at seedbay, i think I might have to grab one hehe.

hey cannivore

they are still braodleafs no doubt

but the "indica" dogma spread by classical enthusiasts gives a very different story to the facts.

there is too much variation, region to region and mountain to mountain to just clump everything together :)

How are the quality of the pheno's? Like does the line produce mostly nice plants?

I ask because I have been looking to try a worthwhile afghani landrace variety. I spent all summer growing out gypsys Mazar i sharif landrace seeds and they were total junk not worth the time or space.

Are these more of a "worked" line or are they still pretty raw?

hi hiding

these are a hindu kush hashplant. who knows. maybe inbred for thousands of years.

i tried a mazar in 09 too, it was also trash.

you will not be dissappointed. expect rock hard, top heavy, sweet, but skunky, diesel with a dash of citrus. the extracts are also unreal, if that your thing.

vigorus, fast growth, big yields, great for breeding, doesnt need much nutes either. loves cal-mag

That'd be great medman, I just placed a large order at the bay anyways so I can wait a bit. I'll grab the rock star with the afghanica then as well.

I am terrified of wasting time and space on Junk, I always spend some time finding beans, I have almost 40 strains in cold desiccated storage, those are the keepers and when I find a keeper I can pull from my bank to try and make something interesting.

Med-mans seeds have peaked my interest for sure. I know that they will make it into the bank eventually...

Peace
