yes .... :) theres 8 different day settings as well as 8 different same day settings .
the only problem i had with the day settings was every other day .... cuz of the 7 day week .... you have 2 days at the end of the week with no feeds . it won't carry over to the next week , it will only go by the 1 week settings . so i used to set the monday feeding heavy to make up for the missed day .

i hope that made sense

lol, still camping season...i slept out one night at -45 and bivied out in the snow one night when it was 0 out...incredible northern lights that night...the -45 night was interesting anyway...spent crammed into a -30 mummy bag with a girl wrapped in 2 more sleeping bags...stayed warm enough...didnt sleep much though...your breath would freeze out instantly and start making snow....

:chin: gonna have to get a coupla those. I need some automation in my life lol. It's getting old making an 80 mile round trip journey twice a week just to feed. I need to fix up a small rez to sample my ph swing over 3 or 4 days.

Dans, might have to snag one of those myself. mine only does minutes.

Question of the day! What kinda tape do you guys prefer when sealing off ducting....the duct tape i bought is garbage and keep peeling off.

Temps are officially stable with both 400s on. hovering around 79 with lights on and 68 with lights off. Going to add 2 circulation fans today and call it good. ohhh and i gotta drill a hole for the flood tray to drain into a runoff bin.

what nutes are ya using G ??? My canna when i mix it i set it at 5.7 & by the time the rez is empty 4 days later its at 6.1 ..... perfecto :)

G .... I found with these timers .... cuz of the seconds of timing capabilities .... it was easier to feed everyday at smaller amounts than to feed every couple of days . i just set them so that i have very little runoff & when the runoff stops .... i just add a few seconds to the feed time & things were great . but i'm in coco & your in soils right ??? just set it to feed a little every day instead of every 3 days or so . thats what nice about these ... you can feed for 10 seconds a day if ya want :)

c'mon, winter camping is great,no bugs....ok,i ran out of good stuff after no bugs but....lol

naw,its fine as long as you have someplace to hang out thats sheltered otherwise you end up in the tent as soon as the sun goes down...its generally fairly warm during the day here...as soon as the sun sets its a race to add layers of clothing until you run out of stuff and have to bail to the tent...

HELL NO I'M NOT IN SOIL!!!!!!!!!! DAMIT I USE PROMIX AND IT IS SOIL LESS!!!!!!!!!!! :biglaugh: lol j/k bruz
I always water till I get a good run off and it taks 3 to 4 days to dry enough to do it gain. At 5 days it gets too dry and I have to add water slowly to avoid immediate run off. I'm in 10 gallon in flower so they hold water longer :D

Yeah Bud ..... a couple pumps timers 1/2" hose & 1/4" hose will cost ya about a 100$ the stuff is pretty cheap & easy to set up . the drainage is the only thing to worry about being gone that long . maybe another pump on the drain going into a larger tote than the rez's .

I use a bucket head shop vac to suck the runoff out every night , but if i'm going away for a few days ... i'll turn the timers back a little so that i get very little to no runoff & when i get back ... i give them a good flush to make sure salts haven't built up .

.Mornin ya motley mob !!!

i think they are like that just because tough totes tend to flew when loaded that much, the tote its sitting in is more rigid but has less volume...

Good call - I thought about rigging something when I saw how my 23 gallon tote wanted to blow out when full.. I was imagining building a sort of "crate" around it to give the sides some rigidity/reinforcement..

Never got around to it - but this seems like a much simpler solution :joint:

Ive got 2 days off. Im waiting on some stuff I ordered through Ebay.

Im building a battery back up system, that will be powered by very large 12 volt AGM deep cycle batteries. I have one (UB-8D) battery on the way now. They are very large, and weigh over 160 lbs each, I think. I saw it as high as $760 each. I payed $515.00 delivered. I also have a 2300/4600 watt inverter on the way.

Eventually I will tie in a couple 250 watt solar panels and a small wind turbine, to keep the batteries charged. This system will be used to power a chest freezer in an event of power loss

Swamp coolers dont pull much current. You may only need 2-250 watt panels. The large green house I toured had powerful fans connected to 1 solar panel each. When the sun came up they would run all day, as long as it wasnt cloudy, and shut off in the evening
