Barneys farm lsd check up (first grow)

Sometimes I splint the plant back together anyway possible and usually the plant goes on like it never happend. I had a monster of a plant split all the way down it's main trunk 18" long or so and the plant never flinched. I repaired that plant with strong spring clamps and nothing more.

Thanks for the advice, i think im going to the try and tape it for now how long would you say it will be until it can support itself aswel.

Damn, I'm sorry for not emphasizing on bending really gently. The main stem can be pretty stiff, sometimes you need to "micro"bend at several spots over an inch or more to get it in an angle without snapping it. That's called supercropping, which in veg is great to create a bushier plant, but can cause stress and delay during flowering because the plant needs to fix its damage.
Height, ideally you should bend the top sideway so it comes at the same level of the side buds. So try bending a few nodes down the stem.
Bending side branches downwards so all the pressure comes down on where it's attached to the main stem can make them come off.

Ducttape, clamps, strings anything that can hold it in place is worth a shot though. With outdoor plants last year I added more soil to cover a branch that snapped partly and I saw it shoot roots after a few weeks, my first cutting! :) adding soil means adding nutrients too so probably not a good idea this far in.

Usually I just leave the repair in place for the remainder of the grow. Other times I can remove the splint from the broken area because you can see it repaired itself. The more "woody" the area that breaks/splits, the less likely it will heal fully. Even if the plant isn't able to to fully repair itself, it can often live on in perfect health as if it never happened.

Iv got it taped up atm im just goin to leave it be and krep my fingers crossed was hopein for no problems, trying to get 3oz a plant on them.

Could you please rotate your pics on your next pic post. You are killin my neck. LOL Nice job on your grow. How many weeks are you going to let them flower. I had a pheno of LSD that HAD to go 11 wks to get 10% amber. It was really good smoke BTW. As someone mentioned earlier you would really do good with a SCROG setup in your area with the lights you have. Good job.:dance013:
