Medical marijuana heads for trial in Iowa

That's really dumb of them to basically kill someone over misguided principles. Seems the guy should of been better at keeping things on the downlow. Not sure how people get busted growing shrooms. They don't smell much and if nobody see's your stuff, no electric bill to speak much of either.

Good luck and God bless, Jamminman.
Is there somewhere people can donate to help?

The reference to shrooms is interesting because Billy McPherson, aka Psilocybe Fanaticus was in effect murdered when he was denied a liver transplant because of his pot use. He was the inventor of the popular pf tek for growing psilocybe cubensis.

It baffles me how in the face of overwhelming evidence politicians, cops, even medical establishments continue to persecute, prosecute and kill. Basically for no reason at all.

Best wishes, Jamminman. I hope things improve.

Thanks for all the support. To address the issue of keeping it on the down-low, land lords are being encouraged to "get to know" their tenants better by the local sheriff. They are encouraged to enter apartments when the tenant is away. Trespassing is an acceptable activity by the sheriffs department around here when it comes to "lowlifes" who don't deserve privacy. And, according to him, just knowing I have cancer was supposedly enough for deputy dipshit to trespass, snoop around and grab my trash on several occasions in the last 2 years. I live on a private drive.
One of my biggest hopes in all this is that an intelligent dialog can be started for legislators in regards to realistic plant counts.

What a travesty! You never here anyone denied a transplant because of Tylenol use, but that would be more lagitamate. As for shrooms, I haven't had a major migraine since (over 10 years).

Keep your head up Jammin. Have faith in a jury seeing you for who you really are.

Too bad they don't judge the person and circumstances. Constitutionally they should, but they judge the act or acts to the letter of the law........no matter how stupid or in actuallality illegal.

I am also finding that there are already provisions in Iowa law, and I am going to make them case law to help many Iowans without waiting for the legislation to get off their "un-cancered butts".

Too bad it isn't a simple thing to just up and move...

More people need to push for legalization in their states or move if it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Took hell and a bucket of high-water (lol) but I've moved to 2 medical states now... fortunately the second move was to Colorado! Sweet!

Keep pushing the info, keep helping the public understand. The fight may not be over but it's definitely headed in the right direction.

Best of luck and...

Keep it Clean! :D
