Recovered nicely from super cropping and absolutely blooming!
Just flipped to flower, so looking forward to seeing the first flowers.

Hi WW,
Yeah OK mate. I grew & smoked the PP1 for about 6 years and the PC isn't too much different. I built up a hefty tolerance over that time so I couldn't really evaluate it properly. The PP1 was a cash crop, I grew commercially for the weight & volume but it never really had a kick in the nuts type of stone. I was hoping the male Cheese plant I ferted the last crop of PP1 with, would add some real punch. It certainly got me stoned and gave me the fiercest munchies but didn't do a great deal for my back pain. Which is really why I'm growing now, as a small garden grower. I have only scratched the surface of these seeds, only cracking about 10 seeds to date. I know there are good genetics in the plant so if I keep popping them seeds I know I'm gonna find a star. I fancied a change this time around though and Clarence kindly sent me some ICE freebies, so I thought yeah - new gear for the first time in ages!
My only concern is the volume/weight I'm gonna get with the ICE. I'm almost certain I won't get what I got this last grow - 53 Oz. Still, It will be worth the experience and the change of smoke.

Thanks for the kind words. The A/C unit is a 900Btu clone I bought from Ebay. I think I paid £180 for it. To be honest, I wasn't too impressed until I added a 5" fan to assist the exhaust. It worked more efficiently then but still doesn't cool the room down properly in the height of summer. However saying that, it did get me through the worst.
I plan to buy a 1500Btu A/C & Heat unit that will give me a 'climate control' for any weather. It also has split timers so you can adjust darkness temps. It's £600 so I've got to save my pennies!

I came into this thread Cuz of the "Ice" ... i've a couple packs of it to get to & wanted to look at a grow thread . which is great so far dude !!!
Then i saw your grow room ..... & I'm like ... No Shit !!! Very similar to mine .... except i do Coco DTW in trays . but the attic is damn close !!!









I'll be checkin back in every now & then to see how the Ice is doing .... good luck with them & luv your room dude !!!

Hi Folks.
Latest diary update;
Can't believe these cuts were all taken at the same time and from the same plant!

About half have gone crazy and the other half are slow catching up. Overhead space is at a real premium here so I had to do the usual LST to the climbers. It looks scruffy at the moment as it was just done but in a couple of days and a bit more tweaking, I should have the even canopy I like.



First flowers have just popped too, so it's all good so far!


Temps are nice now - perfect growing conditions and the high winds mean there's a lot of Co2 in the air!

They are so busy underneath, so many buds.


Looking good so far. Gave them some seaweed & humic today, 2 days before a res change.


Room & air temps are all stable and I can't wait to see the end result.

Iffy-your plants are lookin awesome bro! Haveyou ever tried trimming off everything under the screen to focus all the plants energy on the tops? I've never tried a scrog before but I was just wondering if you had a reason why you leave it on? But anyways I can't wait to see the rest of this grow!

I'm about to switch from soil and try a coco DTW drip system a lot like yours. I was wondering how often you water your plants? I've heard people say you should water multiple times a day and I've also heard you should only water ever couple days kinda like soil?

Thanx DD , i water once a day till i get runoff . as they go through flower the time it takes to get runoff get longer so i just add 15 to 30 seconds to the timer till i get runoff again ... i have to do that probably 3 to 4 times during the 10 week cycle .

good Idea with the 15K btu AC Iffy .... i had a 12k up there this last summer & it was workin over time !!! i'm planning on a 15k myself this summer .... if i'm still in the attic .... i'm hoping not !!!

Thanks for the kind words man. My last grow was my Power Cheese which I treated just how you described (see albums) by trimming everything away from underneath and leaving an 18" deep canopy. This worked well with that cross but right from the beginning of flowering I noticed the ICE was WAY more busy and had far more bud sites. So I decided not to strip them away, just the shit from the bottom to tidy them up. Don't ask me why, just an instinct or a feeling I suppose. Maybe it's subconscious, because I think the ICE will produce less in weight than my PC. The PC came from a cross of PP1 & Big Bud, which was a cash crop really, designed to grow big, heavy colas. All the flowers seem to be growing really well, so the proof will be at the weigh-in.
