Also, im not seriously suggesting cannabis is worth shooting someone. However, I don't think it would be illegal if you left one small plant outside, and "accidentally" sprayed it down with poison, right b4 the rippers came back. Let them retards kill themselves.

That's some fucked up thinking of some thing to do. I can't believe that thought didn't run through my mind. Its kind of like not taking clones from people cause you could catch some thing, you never know what some knuckle head has sprayed on his shit.

I was out picking the majority of seed branches and had the same thought run through my mind.

It was this: Why not set up a special bud with pure Avid dripped and saturated into it?

The answer was, because this may be stolen and given to an individual that is innocent of anything. Furthermore, no one, even a thief deserves death or severe internal physical punishment. Its beyond my personal realm of my rights on my property ( morally) reguardless.

I value life, even that of bad people and my enemies. It may be strange, but thats just how I am.

I had family trim the big in ground Headband plant. It netted just over a pound and a half. All of it is just prime grade. I tipped them 4 zips for the cleaning, and for other work done during veg and bud. They were happy

Death is a part of life its a journey we all will take. There's a lot of difference between outdoor and indoor. This was the HB before I pulled it. It was good at such an early stage. I have one small HB in flower now. the bigger girls wont be for some time.. I only had 1 HB large enough to flower. the plants in flower now are 6 GG,2 Burkles and 1 HB.The plants in the cups are my back ups of the keepers Burkle,HB,GG. All the others will be finished before I start taking any more cuts.

These are the next to be flowered when there big enough. there is no HB or Burkle in these. this is all GGXQ,GGs1,GSCXQ,White Dawg....There's 4 more GGXQ not in this pic but are the same size.

Just wait Dan, just you wait, in 18-24 months when the commercial stuff is all opened up. :comfort:
Try as they like, Comercial can't grow like us. We put not only our hearts into these plants, but a bit of the essence of our own souls into this good work as well :)

Yea i wasn't totally being serious about that either really.

And I agree with you completely for one reason. That someone unknowing and innocent might be sold the buds. (I dont think the thieves would be "giving" the buds away. Unless Robin Hood rips you) But if there was a way to insure the thieves the themselves smoked the buds, I would really be all for it. Karma's a bitch, and people get what they deserve sometimes.

Fuk em, kinda like my sig says. I got nothing but pain for my eniemes. and nothing but love for my homies:)

can anyone recommend me a decent E/C (ppm) meter? The only ones they have at my local grow shop are super expensive Blu Labs. I wanna get one for $50-$100 if thats possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Pappy, I too was lookin for an EC meter and just decided to pony up the cash and get the Blue Lab Truncheon (you can see it hangin in my pic i posted earlier today) Expensive, yes....but i believe its a lifetime warranty and you NEVER have to calibrate it. Yous hould be able to get it for around 120-130.....i think i talked my shop guy down to 110 if im not mistaken

Ill have to order one. Your right. Up until this point, I usually always get the high quality stuff. Anytime Ive gone the cheapo route its always ended up costing me more in the long run.

Ill have to find one online, My grow store wants $300 for one that reads EC and ph. I dont really care about the ph so much, i have test strips for that, but the EC only one isn't much cheaper. My store is way overpriced on certain items for some reason.

Bugman- I came across a decent thread on ISO making today. I haven't read through it completly, but it looks very similar to how I do it. Except the freeze they Isopropyl first.

ohhhh you were lookin at the combo meter. The Truncheo is like a big plastic pole that just lights up the EC of the solution. Much bigger than i expected but it works like a champ

Money. Thanks guys. Just checked out those pens. They look like what i want. I guess Blulab stuff isnt that pricey. Just when its marked up 300%. Its so funny how my grow store obviously marks shit up, and then gives everyone the super secret special 15% discount. lmao

Aww, don't feel so special - it ain't just yours, it's all of 'em. :D

That said, while I do prefer to support the local guys, largely because a) it's convenient to have a spot like that at the corner and b) because the doofuses at the other end of a .com don't answer my questions when I walk in or act as my muse..

Now, THAT said, there are also items I damn near refuse to buy in the store/will buy online only, and vicey versa.. I think the guys at the store take advantage of the fact that some of us might not want a ballast or reflector shipped to our house - god only knows how discrete the packaging might be.. :)

they have a 5 year warranty. I usually buy the expensive stuff local. That way if there's an issue I can return it that day.

Silver-I couldnt agree with everything you said any more. Everything.

Yea i wouldnt buy a tent from my store (they are literally 5x more expensive), and i wouldnt buy nutes, soil, an inline fan, etc etc online. Also, ballasts are at least 2-3x more expensive at my local shop. To think, up untill now ive purchased everything throught them exclusively.:wallbash:

I never wanted to leave a paper trail, and also, like you said, its nice to have a physical place to take an item back if necessary. But since checking a few things out online, the list of things im willing to buy there is steadily shrinking.

But it is soooooooo nice having a store around the corner. Sometimes you need stuff asap.

Also, its funny you mention the ballasts. There is a member here that ordered a ballast, and it came shipped in the original packaging. How terrible is that?. What a stupid company. I wonder how they stay in business. Not a lot of repeat customers im guessing.

Thats true outcast, but I just cant bring myself to pay $700, for a tent i can get online for $150. Or a $320 for a ballast that is $140.

I will say, recently I was checking out inline fans , and the deals seemed great. It doesnt make a lot of sense to me how some of their items are marked up sooooo much, and some are about the same as online places

The few times I've ordered reflectors/hoods online, they've taken it out of its box, turned its box inside out, and shipped it like that - pretty smooth, I thought.

I've also ordered a carbon filter online - and when it arrived, the UPS guy goes, "Hey, I've got a package for Mr. Hawaiian..? Looks like it's one hydroponic carbon odor filter?"

Then I look at the box: HYDROPONIC CARBON ODOR FILTER

WTF?! What is hydroponic about the damned filter?! WHY MUST YOU STATE THAT ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX?!
