pappy those cheapo fans suck balls, dont waste your money...active air fans are only about 120 in the 6 inch size,5 year warranty also...

yes pappy, negative pressure is good,if you are going with a 4x8 tent than 2x 6inch on carbon filters for exhaust and one 6 inch fan for intake should work fine..

lotus, i far prefer dry trimming too, much easier and faster for me,generally 4 days and its dry enough to trim then a couple days in a container to sweat and good to go...

The only thing you can use them for is on Passive intakes/exhaust's and that's pushing it.

I remember that bugman. it was a mess when done.

The old Isomizer. I never used one. It would have taken a bunch of weed back then to get anything worthwhile. You might have done well with Columian Red buds

lol,its a heartwarming tale of a father and son and high proof spirits!

well i didnt crack 1000 miles today, some jackass in an escalade (koff koff micro penis) tried to cut me off and some words were exchanged and various hand signs given and in the meantime i took a nail in the rear tire but i was only like a block or two from the bike shop...still barely made it...and i wussed out and had them change it for me,i didnt have another slimed tube at home anyway...i will hit it tomorrow,it was kind of windy and i turned out of the wind too early...should have just kept going...probably wouldnt have run across assface and would maybe have missed the nail too...

Well I got a situation going on tonight.

Mini split is not cooling as it should. I started a thread about it but figured I'd post here in case G is around.

Freon line is iced up where it meets the outdoor unit.

Any help from anyone would be appreciated.

I found this info

several things can cause ice on a lineset , most frequently, low freon, poor air flow over evaporater coil, or obstruction in metering device. if the ice starts at evap side it most likely would be poor airflow over evap or metering device is obstructed. if it starts at the condenser side it will be low freon. good luck

I just removed about 3-4"s from the back of the unit with the studing out. Of course, makes sense.

mornin fellaz. 3rd it sounds like a small leak from the drill. And NO you will not get air or moisture in your unit unless all the puron is lost. Air does not change places with freon untill all the freon is lost. Shut it down to let it thaw and then spray soapy water on your fittings. Sounds like a tiny leak so bubbles may come slowly.
Now venting. I'm getting confused lol. Duct boosters will work in a micro grow but in a room your gonna need more air. Now what I'm trying to wrap my head around is how blowing in 400 cfm when you are taking out 800 cfm is gonna work. My tent is in a 12x16 storage shed. In the 4x8 tent I'm running 1 x 6" active air fan with 1 x 8" passive intake. Walls are sucked in and tent is cool. Running 2 x 600 cool hoods wit 6" active air to cool them. Not pulling much outside air and exhausting all air back to the lung room so during warm weather it doesn't cool real good but the veg plants in the lung room don't mind.
Some body please essplain how two 6" exhaust with one 6" intake works? To me the one 6" is gonna be too much restriction :dunno:

thats 2, 6 inch on carbon filters G, also used to vent lamp heat through the hoods, with a 6 inch as intake it should still be negative pressure in the tent but not too bad...

morning gang...

So your saying the scrubbers cut the air flow almost in half? And I'm still tring to figure out why you need a fan forcing air in. If you arn't getting enough air in then why not just increase the size of the intake? I know in some cases you need to force air. I'm gonna do some flow testing with my meter and see what I'm getting.
