Who's up for a Kiddie Pool Contest ?

Just finished the framework i just might make the deadline. Now im gonna smoke up and watch hangover3.

I've got my frames built and a few extras ta boot....

No deadlines to meet beyond having to cut ladies by the end date so your solid,bro.......

My little creation...

Heres my basic idea....

I raised the top pool 2 inches to allow better PWT control and allow a little more room for the float valve....

Added safety features...

Being earthquake country...

I added stoppers on 3 sides...




As the medium fills with roots and allows less drainage...

I expect a little overflow.
So I added 4 overflow pipes...

One across from the other covering all sides....

This is a 1/2" pipe with screening,glued an inch
below the rim and leading to the lower pool....





Theres more to come as well...

Using only 4 of the 8 wick holes per pool...
I have some 2' tail pieces I was playing with when I was chewing on a multi level PPK a few months back that would work perfect here.

Using 4 long tail pieces as drains and running them through the 1 level pool(which would still have 4 media wicks and a PWT level,I would have a PPK pool and a flood to waste pool in one...

I think...lol

I wonder if the roots from the top pool would make it all the way to the Volume pool... hummm...

It would take less to flood each pool(have only 4 drains each) but would also take longer to drain....

I would have to time the flood cycles just right....

Hummmm....




I guess the 1st question would be...
Why... ?....

Outside... This would be killer..

In the space I have... Not sure how this would really increase yields over some simpler ideas I have coming up.... lol



Take the legs off the pvc stand and flip it over...
Add sprayer head and a pump....

Bam....
40 + from clone cut to harvest Aero PPK Kiddie pool....
Another level...

Put the aero PPk on top and veg up trees in the 1st level PPK
using this stacked design... lol

Under say a 1000 w horizontal

This was the first time i saw this movie and it was sweet!.i gotta say.chow is fuckin awesome dude had.a parachute ready to go. And its great the deadline is chop time i never wouldve got the construction done by start time my girlfriend wont help but my daughter does! I was putting the final coat on this afternoon look over my shoulder to see what shes doing... Lmao shes painting flowers on the floor! If only she knew lol. Your pool looks amazing by the way is that all water lines or structual support?

jeesh i though CYAT would be here by now, he had a great idea,ive been lurking here,there and came across a thread somewhere in the coco section,where he mentioned 'rigging a kiddie pool with the 'smart valve',using bottom feeding and airpots,.,we need everyone and there crazy COOL ideas to join!

Id still be playing with CFL's...

Not that a CFL KP wouldn't be beyond awesome to scrog...

I would not be moving forward in my journey to learn this art of growing as I have been blessed enough to travel thus far...

kiddie pool​

I did this with 2x3 black project trays from HD n made a cloner before I got an EZ. Eventually I used it to veg in for a while but I must have had 70 sites for pucks in that area. Could go nuts with à kiddie pool. Def need net cups or solos instead of pucks to flower tho. Would be fun to see. I thought about a pool before but did not think it was rigid enough to support the dongs it would be holding up

yeah im tellin ya,NOW they came out with a cover that fits over the smart valve,so when u rig it up anywhere you want you can have it covered up,looks like THEY were lurkin TOO I guess

I like the sound of that,what like a BIG recirculating top drip,through the chow mix down draining and back up or something else?im guessing that coz U mentioned dirty CHOW mix,but then i SAW the word DIRTY?so what soil maybe?

I got a BIT of time to spare and a few freebie beans so im all IN For the fun..next year we can get back to the GRIND!!

THeyr'e going great,all in good time.

ALTHOUGH theres only one pool of veggies leftthe PAK CHOI didnt come healthy to start with and so they were getting chomped for breakfast by the pillars

so i got rid of them and replaced the pool with the green peppers!,without the spider wick tho!,who wants to see it grow veggies!

Heres what they looked like last

so i got one pool left in the greenhouse and everything else is in pots.(mostly chillies and basil my 2 favourite)

I WARN you ,dont grow veggies,u will be SUCKED into all the oragnic stickies,you can see i been mulching,brewing ,and im even proud to say i made my first LACTIS BACILLIS CULTURE,the dogs ,me and all the crew got some!!Growing veggies shows how simple gardening can be!

some beans popped for the contest!here we have 6 regular HERIJAUANA and 2 killing field cross blue kronic regular (aka SELENE),

HOLDING THUMBS for something special/ a couple sexy girlies will be just fine thank you!

should have time to veg/sex and get clones i hope? first herijauna has popped.

Sounds like a blueprint to a good time... Solid...

I was thinking a Plexiglas glass lid with small/medium net pots.
If you went full canopy 43" wide scrog or even pop cycles a PVC frame inside the pool to hold the weight would work...

Would love to see the root in that pool come Harvey....
