Hey Ledbud,
Im a Newbie myself, Not to growing Mj been a grower for years, I like organics as I only grow personal stash of the highest quality I find the pheno's I want that gives me the buzz I want, yield being important but most definitely secondary to The high or meds Im looking for, anyways I keep always keep it as simple as possible, new horizon multi purpose straight from the bag is great, plants love it. I see you use Led , Im interested as Im about to set up a new cab(just moved) in Led grow lights again plug n play makes it simple, where did you get yr lights? There so much info n so much talked about rip offs n cheap copies and stuff I don't wanna make a wrong choice in shelling out lots Wonga for one,
Cheers Mate, Happy growing

Organic always best for personnel smoke bro. MJ are easy to grow.
like any other plant just need love and care, they are hardy plants.

i grow with coco and soil mixed, 50%/50%.
keeping it simple is easy to work with, i done DWC with very good results but its hard work, air pot are easy.
i get my led from www.ledhydroponics.co.uk.
i use their 2 x photon 126 for 2 years, i just upgrade to Helios 6 now.
my grow room is about 1.2 x 2m and i like to Max on lights, with led i can Max light with on heat problems.
I use 1400w led in my grow room. My girls are very happy with high light levels.
i like to start seeds with CFL for first 10 days,

HHH great info, thanks man, I did see Ledhydroponics n saw the war between them n some other company, n just didnt know who to trust, but cool if their lights work n they here in uk, thats good enough for me, and agreed I used to use cfl at the start with good results, then I went to T'5 for clones and first week or so of veg all depending when then need potting on to 3'5 litre pots n need more light coverage, , I used to pot onto bigger pots n then scrog making individual frames over each plant, itg was cool n gave good results, but I found more plants in smaller pots was for me, in a small space, SOG style much more simple n produced around the same , n hey them single cola's don't half look the bizzo, huh!
Thanks I ln looked at photo someone said on here that it said, about some quality chip was available, meaning it dont actually come with the unit? Im guessing from what you say that is not true??? clearly you were happy with the light?

Hi All,
Well this is my first (of hopefully many) post. After months of lurking and reading everything I could I started my first grow (DWC) back in June.

Hey Ledbud,

I have no clue what I'm growing, its just some bagseed from some pretty good bud I scored in the past. Considering that it had seeds, it was pretty good and the girls should be great once harvested.

those pic's are around a week old now, I have 2 girls and because of a snafu with my timer this is the second budding or you can say its the second generation of a reveg. Once harvested I'm gonna try a deliberate revegging of the girls to see if the harvest is bigger than this one being that the root structure is already in place.

And oh BTW I have no clue as to what I'm really doing, but better now than with some 100$+ seeds and my babies all die on me or something.

looking nice mate, i wont reveg and flower, you wast time.
better to start new grow.
They LEDbud thanks for taking an interest https://www.icmag.com/ic/images/smilies/thank you.gif, that's what I've been hearing/reading around the boards, but won't revegging give me a curve to start behind since I didn't take any clones, and if these girls turn out to be exceptional I won't lose out on these particular strains? And even if they don't veg back it'll give me some breathing room to figure out what I did wrong this first time, give me time to reconfigure my grow closets and do it better with new seed stock? Believe me, I've battled back from high rez temps and root slime, to timer issues, to inaquadate lst'ing and over growth after revegging. And I just need a little time to https://www.icmag.com/ic/images/smilies/newsmilies/watchplant.gif and regroup. I should be able to get a little to https://www.icmag.com/ic/images/smilies/pipe.gif will decideing.

You know my brother is 9 yrs older than me and I always said I was gonna watch his errors and not repeat them. But you know it seems that I did a lot of the same damn things he warned me about anyway. Same way here.

But here are the latest pic's from this grow.

my grow room. my automazar got 3 weeks to go.
wow LED ur lookin good. Have been wantin to grow using leds but so far price have been an obstacle, how long did it take to get your ROI? Been also thinking that flip/flopping the lights to follow the climate changes could also help with the environmental cost of running a grow. What's ur take on all of that?

Blessings

i been growing with led for 2 years now. wont go back to HPS.
LED are not cheap but you make it back on power saving in less then one year.
i use to have problem with heat every summer when growing with HPS.
I had to learn how grow with led. first 2 grow with led was poor.
i had led to close to plants and they got stunted,
plants also grow bushy with led, like they been topped.
when you grow seedlings or small cuttings i have led about 24 to 26" from plant,
in flowering you can have them at 18" for first 3 weeks then i have then at about 14" to 8" to finish.
my mate just done big grow with led and its on Dutch Passion blog.
http://www.dutch-passion.nl/en/news-and-development/the-ultimate-grow-review-by-autoberry/
sorry about my bad English.
