I'm 1-1 on betting so far this year. Got all three of my picks the first week and won some money, lost last week only because the damn panthers got spanked by the cardinals....even after they got a bye week the week before...D'OH!
Anyway, I took 4 picks on my football card this week instead of my normal 3.
My picks this week are:
-Packers on the road over the Ravens, Packs favored +2 1/2.
-Texans at home against the Rams, Texans favored by +7 1/2.
-Taking the Saints on the road over the Patriots, Patriots favored by +2 1/2.
-Cowboys at home over the Redskins, Cowboys favored by +5 1/2.

Yep...Pack didn't cover, Texans got their asses kicked, and the Saints lost a stunner.....I'm still playing with the money I won in week 1 though!

This week in "How to Lose Money Betting On Football".....
I'm taking favorites, just 3 this week. Let's see how I do....
-Taking the Bears over the Redskins (+ 1 1/2). RG3 is starting to break out, but it may be too little too late. Then again, the skins have no D....I like Cutler...and I like Marshall...and I like that Bears D. Bears should win by at least 1 TD if not 2.
-Eagles over the Cowboys (+2 1/2) because I got Shady on my fantasy team and Foles isn't going to do anything stupid (hopefully). Honestly, this game could go either way, but I like how Foles just plugged himself right into the offense from jump. Yes, I know it was against the Giants, but still...by the way, the Giants are going to win Monday night. Freeman is starting for Minnesota and that should tell you all you need to know. Dude just signed last week or whatever.
-Broncos over the Colts (+7) because Peyton has a point to make. It could be a shootout, but Peyton knows the Colts better than the Colts know the Colts.
