Help with my Seedlings

-One of the rock wool cubes has roots popping through the bottom of the cube. The other ones doesn't have anything yet. Is that normal or should i just be more patient? And how long should i leave them in the dome before they go in the dwc bucket?

They are at day 8 From seed

Nah, you're fine, just keep them as they are and give it a bit more time. Some plants just end up getting roots through quicker than others. As far as when to place into DWC, I wait until I've got 3ish inches of root coming out, then transfer. That way you can use the little bit of extra root to make sure they get to the bottom of the pots.

You'll be fine, it's normal some will grow quicker then others don't let them roots dry out in the domes though keep them moist. As far as transfer, do it shortly after the roots are coming out the cubes hope it helps

They look like they arent getting enough light. Stems look thin and long for their size. I wouldnt worry about not seeing roots yet though, give them some more time. If the seed sprouted and is healthy, it is growing roots.

Thanks guys :) the other rockwool cube had a single root that poked through the cube this morning. Ill get some pictures up Tomorrow. For prepping the hydroton do i just have to rinse it a few times? Iv read people letting the rockwool soak in phd water but i wasnt sure if that was for ppl who were reusing their hydroton. Mine is still brand new in the bag from the hydro store. I just dont want to have any ph swings from not prepping them right.

Also, how long technically could the seedlings stay in the humidity dome? I have the temps constantly 75-80 degrees and the humidity is always 80-100%

I dont put seedlings in a humidity dome. Once they have a couple sets of true leaves, they can regulate their water uptake and transpiration. No need for a dome.

That level of RH is unnecessarily high. HUmidity is rarely an issue in veg unless you are growing in extremely hot and arid conditions. Nasty things thrive in wet, hot & humid contitions with little air flow.

I have never ran into a problem with seedlings or rooted cuttings even with consistent RH in the 30's.

Just keep your ambient temps in a comfortable range and youll be fine.

looking fine. i prefer to put my cubes in dirt or whatever medium im going to use as soon as i see roots. so that it doesnt delay anything. just my own thoughts.
