Maybe they came from some of the people here, haaa. So these people here paid full price to sell to bobble at a discount. After getting raided by the police.

Haterz gonna hate! :biglaugh: I told the LEO to keep my meds cause I can grow more... and now they're selling me the equipment to do it. BAM! Eat it. Its hard to feel bad for the guys who had to forfeit their equipment. I've invited the police in my apt where I was growing, with a grow tent in my bedroom and the whole placing reaking. I've also had to keep my grows a total secret and dismantled everything mid-grow, hid all the plants and equipment along with conducting repairs before fire inspections. Its not that hard to stay out of trouble. At least for me.

I didn't know that 6" Magnum XXXL's are smaller than 8" XXXL's. WTF is that about? I thought it was just duct size! oh well... I'm done buying equipment. Next photo update will have 6kw in large reflectors.

If anyone who doesn't have a reflector would like to try one out, or maybe you need a few more, I have several for sale that you can choose from. :) Ballasts and lamps too. I could probably furnish multiple closet grows. Hmmm... I have closets.... :biglaugh:

what is the max area the magnums cover with 1ks? I run 2 over my 4x8 beds and I'm building a room for my other 4, and I was thinking about building the beds 5x10... any thoughts?

5' x 5' is the max coverage, and that puts you at 40wpsqft.

I would leave the beds 4x8, because the plants grow outside that area anyway. They only have to hang over the edge of the bed 6" and you have a 5' x 9' canopy. If you do build the beds 5 ' x 10', which would have the benefit of bigger soil, then just try to keep them in that 5' x 10' space so the light doesn't fall off too much and leave you with a bunch of larfy bullshit... Or maybe you can still sell larfy bullshit and it doesn't matter so much. I just got nailed b/c of some heat stress making my buds airy and killing potency. Medical market fuckin up my game.

Get those reflectors turned so the lamps are parallel!

Oh yeah, this has nothing to do with growing, but I've pretty much decided I'm going to get a PhD in research.

Which fields?

I see myself in geriatric nursing. more specifically my interest is in the treatment and prevention of chronic disease. Heart disease, COPD, diabetes... All the biggest killers in the US, and all preventable in most cases through diet and exercise.

Without going into too much detail I grew up being very familiar with death and end of life care. I know too many sad stories and I've seen and will see too many disgusting things that could have been prevented. I want people to die of old age, in their sleep. They shouldn't have to suffer until death finally relieves them.

The population of the US is aging, and chronic disease is going to become more prevalent as the obese adult population continues to age. I can study these people, hopefully steer them onto a better course while there's still time to make changes... Because the body is always renewing itself, and its amazing what the human body can do to heal itself. My research will then benefit the next younger generation and hopefully help them to make better lifestyle choices.

People are always asking me why I don't become a dietician or a trainer in the gym... Its because I want bigger things.

Promix in the 18 gal totes, got it. What've you amended with?

amended with nothing right now. The same stuff I put in the beds is "cooking" in a tote right now. I'm looking to avoid pH issues. I'll have to be sure to start cooking my nutes sooner from now on.

thanks bobble, your gardens are inspiring as always, I was thinking of toying with some organics in my little tent. my local garden shop guy makes the subcool mix and bags it for sale.I was going to start there and sees for myself if the end product is more flavorful and what not.

same here.... I've built a few small Sub-Irrigated planters for the wife to try her hand at growing her own organic medicine.

Got the SIP idea from the jerk above me though.

Bobble...(Seriously) are their some pics in this thread detailing those 4 x8 beds?

I "might" want to borrow that idea for the upcoming season.

Keep up the great work and congratulations on your doctoral pursuits!

wanted to say hi. this is yet another thread i have to really dig through. the first page makes me feel like a terrible grower though, i will say that. my SDD is strong, and just as frosty as my golden goat imo, but NOWHERE near that big. shes heavy, dont get me wrong, but about par with my sweet tooth. back to the drawing boards! its now my lifes goal to raise a SDD cola at least close to the one pictured on page one. seriously bobble..... wtf. good for you brother. i hope theres some of your fabled headband cut in the past few pages i can check out again, it still amazes me all the things youve ditched over that girl. curiouser and curiouser
what a way to bounce back from the mouldhouse. you should be proud man. kudos.

Sorry man I forgot that you had asked. I don't have any build pics, but I'll get some closeups for ya. I have to fix one of the casters so I have to jack one of the beds up and I'll be able to take a pic underneath too.

The PhD is still about 5 years out at least just to get started. I just know now its something I want to do.

That guy is SO annoying! :smoker:
Yeh I sent Bobble down a rabbit hole on composting today. Haha I am a jerk.[/QUOTE]

Yeah I still haven't looked at that... B/c the 15 mins of reading you sent me will turn into a night of research, and aint nobody got time for that!

If it makes you feel better, the quality wasn't as good as I had thought on the last grow. I had some heat issues and the St. DD bed really took a hit in potency b/c of it, as well as the goat. I had to cull an entire bed as well. These are expensive problems. Thanks for the kudos though.

Hey I forgot you have the cut... You should participate in our big cola contest. The link is in here a couple pages back.

I don't have any recent headband pics, but i'm still growing her. I had 2 plants in my last grow, and I have 1 large plant flowering now that's gonna put out at least 8oz. That's one plant I don't have plans of tossing anytime soon.

I am proud of where I am in comparison to where I've been... but its never good enough. Thanks for popping in! :thank you:

Yeah, I planned on toying with organics too... Then I said fuck it and went all in. ha ha... If you have a spot that you plan on growing for a while, I strongly suggest no-till beds. I've had the best overall results so far with this method of growing. Hopefully I can pull it all together and get the yield and quality to match up.
