Which do you mean Gerard the cut used in the yeti OG formally now as headband BX or a cut of the BX?

Anyway a friend grew both the yeti OG and moondawg which were both top notch.

I mean the cut that Loompa calls his headband, not the bx made with it, or the million s1's in circulation. I've been well aware of it for some time. Supposedly an heirloom OG Kush thats from NY of all places. He said he only gave it to some close friends at dispensaries but I also heard it was sold for $7000 per tray of clones. Now I doubt anyone thats paid thousands of dollars for a cut is going to pass it around free of charge LOL. Anyway, there were quite a few S1's of it passed out for free. A few "wanna-be" breeders made seed with the progeny and renamed it Joseph OG or something to that effect.

I don't believe that tray price story, lol. Its awful funny dude could take one parent, use another and make a better cross than the original, pass out beans free, or at least in the early days, especially to med patients, have many excellent reports............and then the tray story, Those that paid for cuts must be pissed if the beans he made turn out so well, you see more requests for his cross than the cut itself, it seems. JMHO

Check Loompa's posts at CC, OldLuck. He posted what to look for in HB phenos. Its been awhile since I've seen them, or visited CC but I think the fuel ones on the stem rub are the ones to look for. Along with stem coloration.

I am wondering how Doctas new OG lines from Archive seeds stack up next to the Yeti f3s Loompa just released.

Has anyone here grown both Loompas HB cut and his current f3s? If so how did the f3 generation stack up to the original cut?

The Yeti f3s look so tempting but @ $200 for 10 seeds as far as OG in seed form, Doctas gear @ $100 for 12 looks like a more solid option. Seems like 24 Valley Girl beans might have a better chance then 10 Yeti f3 beans for the same price.
