"This one smells like that broken tooth in your mouth you've avoided having fixed for several yrs."
My dog won't even lick my face cause of my decay breath. I keep it that way to avoid all the kissing foreplay my wife likes. After 25+ yrs. together, having to "make out" for a 1/2 hr. isn't something I'm too interested in.
We all cope in different ways.

Fly by, I hope you weren't in that tent in the background with that girl, you'd have some serious explaining to do. I'd rather kiss my mother in law...I pulled out some Sour Nevils to roll a joint to smoke while I worked my space. This thing is so heavily seeded it's hard to clean it up enough so that a tiny piece of seed doesn't make it into the paper. The smoke is def speedy and strong.I must have done 5 hrs of work before I was looking to fire up again.I trimmed up enough bud to fill a pint jar and left the rest.Smells sharp and hazy.:)

Damn
That the F1?
Was that specific plant a parent of your F2s?
Those giant diamond nugs sure look familiar. Flower/leaf ratio looks solid.
Just great lookin.

Nice touch on the smell description ;-)

It's amazing that it's kept it's smell and flavor so long. It's been in a paper grocery bag for 7 months under a pile of gear.I guess so long as I keep the humidity down everything goes well.
The top buds on the Sour BX plants are filling out to fantastic proportions, I'm a bit surprised at how sour the first BX is and how uniform the whole lot is.Looking at 12 females, 8 are roughly similar and the other 4 are close with a hazy one here and there. The hazy one was excellent smoke, cherry/incense flavored with a bit of sour bite and pretty strong. At day 58 some of the 9'ers I'm running look damn close to being done.I call it the 9'er instead of #9 because of the infamous 9'er umbrella rig, made in Mass.I have a huge one I have to troll with my Penn 70, there is no fish that can resist that thing.:) I caught 6 bluefish and 1 bass at the same time, what a clusterf*ck!

Tasty F1 Im sure!!!

The C Sis x Nevs are plugging along...I have a male, gonna dust some of the pollen on this girl and see what comes of it...

The c sis nev is the culprit for the new funky smell I think. Kinda like a weird sweaty pile of fat softball-playing chicks socks that shes trying to cover up with incense or something.. :D

Sweaty, chubby and smelly, that's what we look for around here! The F2's I made with the ECSD X Nevils were extremely vigorous with baseball sized clusters that smelt exactly like the F1's so I would venture a guess and say you could expect something similar from the CC X Nevils F2's but that's just me speculating:).
This is the 9'er I've been growing.Under the gentle T5's she looks like this but around the hps lamps she's bigger, meaner. I added a 250hps over the tops of these for the finish since the weather has chilled down a bit. It's about day 60 and I'm tempted to take one of these down soon, you can see they're very well developed.:woohoo:

The EP x Mullum S5 seeds jumped out of the rockwool so I wanted to hustle them into coco asap.I used as many larger pots as I could, the rest I used beer cups.It seems I took a lifetime to figure out that I end up with bigger, faster growing plants when I start the seedlings out in bigger pots.I ran out of veg lamps so I'm running a bare 600 vertically so the seedlings are below and my big plants in back benefit from the full blast.I have a big Sour BX clone in the big blue container, 12gal at least.I hope to flip her very soon.

Back to the roots.
I smoked some of Slip's Nevil momma flowers today.
Selected best of many by Slip after a long search.
Female sibling to the male parent of the Sour Nev Fx and the Sour Nev BX lines.

Damn, the smell coming off that bud is what everyone hopes their Haze plants will smell like.
Strong nasty woody piney funk hash incense hash funk.
VERY Very strong. Very hazy. It has all that "church" smell described by new yorkers so often.

2 hits brought me through a 15 minute ascent to full cruising altitude. A little trippy, a bit speedy, full warm upper body head shoulders effect. These are beautiful dense top shelf flowers and the smell/taste is out of this world.

You can see why this Nev is such a powerful partner to cross with for an F1. The flavor and power is not the kind of thing that will submit with others. I can see where part of the cherry tastes are coming from in the old Nev. Something woody/spicy from the haze A and fruity/piney from the NL. Combine that in a cross with a rich chem/sour mid-range and you have something greater than both parents. That's the goal in all these crosses.
You can see the results of your great selections in the offspring.
Congrats Slip!

Born Loser, I run a basic Lucas formula with the powder koolbloom cut back to about 1/3.I use loads of cal-mag too, esp GH brand.I switched brands on a good friends advice and I could see the difference.I start my RO water with 285ppm's of cal-mag and use that water for my base.Then1.25 tsp/gal(cal-mag) when I start mixing.I'm using coco so it may be irrelevant if you're in soil.
I wish I had pics from yesterday when I was tying colas up...again.I'm still only at day 60 of 12/12 but the room is putting quite a load on.Right now there's only room for me to stand in the middle of the 8' circle(I have to crawl in through a hole I cut) , with a cooltube burning my ass the whole time. The whole circle is 1-2ft over my head with colas.I'll have a go at a picture this morning at lights on.Between running big seed plants and using the vert donut style I have buds I never could have grown horizontal style. The Nevils haze platform really put the BANG in this sour stock. The sour plants are so sour now I'm super stoked.
Hopefully the day will come when I can run these with unlimited ceiling and light. When SW Texas goes legal, whatchout I'm moving in!:) I'm not retiring to the cold!
