some quick updates for you guys. everything is looking great. ppk is kicking ass and taking names. now with the vert bulb vegging they have really bushed out. i switched to a 1k tonight. would have been sooner but my only 1k mh bulb was being used on others and then burned out so i had to order a new one. the two slower ones are finally starting to take off. im still waiting on my lighting controller to show up and then i will get everything wired up. im thinking about getting a flip flop so i can run two identical tents and not have to buy more ballasts. but we will see. i may just set up a 6x6 with 5 600's and let er rip. after these two runs i will pick up more equipment and double up.

fucking disaster at the spot! my RO system fucked up and leaked about 100 gallons all over the floor and underneath a few tents. its a fucking mess and a half. i soaked up as much as i could but there is so damn much it makes me mad just to think about it. ive got the tents propped up and shooting a ton of air underneath them to dry things up. i moved the smaller one and dried underneath it and am drying the tent itself right now. i will move it back tomorrow when i am sure it is dried completely. the last thing i want is mold in my spot. im halfway tempted to sprinkle a tiny bit of comet on the cement under the tent in case there is residual moisture and stuff wants to grow. fuck this sucks ass. im gonna be up all night and have to work early. fail

thanks guys. im all dried up after 24 hours. thats one of the benefits of being in super low rh i guess lol. i threw down a bunch of old loose rockwool absorbent and then i raised up the edges of the tents and pumped a shit ton of air under them for 24 hours. i already put the 6x6 back up and running. the 10x10 is still on lean a little bit and forcing a bunch of air under it. cant be too careful. other than that all is good. i raised up the light a bit....thanks. i am gonna get a big ultrasonic fogger and see if i cant get my RH up in the ideal range. CO2 is off due to a leaky hose. i knew i smelled gas and that tank emptied way too fast lol.

the blue dreams are stacking hard and fast. the only concern is on the BD cuts they have upward claw in the teeth of the leaves. its not a heat issue. its 80 and a ton of airflow. i think its just low RH. gonna see what i can do with the fogger

im still dealing with lingering depression from the dogs being put down. i could have sworn i heard them barking at me when i pulled up at home right now and i got all excited and got out to silence. im still a bit fucked up over it i guess.

Hang tough DH.....Dawgs is family in my cowpasture , so I feel yas on losin 2 kids back ta back , and now since bad shit always happens in 3`s , you oughta be off to da races after the R/O flood from Hell.......and yeah......

Your plants will ALWAYS be cussin yas and actin up till yas provide that optimum RH throughout the entire grow so they can be all they can be.....guaranteed.....

70% RH till end of stretch , and since you live in drys-ville , I`d try ta keep mid flower to end of cycle in the low 50 percentile , cuz I`m sure if you dropped the fogger after end of stretch they could stay in the 20% range no problem lights on AND off , but that`s really no bueno as well......

All about the plants not transpiring/sweating too fast , cuz in turn it fucks with , and causes increased nutrient uptake that'll create salt buildup as well as ph goin sideways.....IOW.....

PPM`s will rise and PH will drop , when in a dialed environment as the plants eat , PPM`S drop and PH rises....gradually......regardless......

Good luck and sorry bout da pups once again......best wayta get over passed pets is ta get some new pups so they`ll have a friend while growin up......

Hell....I`ve got 6 bulldawgs at the farm , plus 1 that travels with me and GF and ALL boys ......you`d think it would be blood sport on a daily basis , but they were all raised and loved together , and when they sleep it`s usually piled up on top of each other like they`re queer......lol...

Handle shit Bro......Get back in da ballgame ......

Peace.....DHF.....:ying:......

thanks DHF. this new girl is a monster! i cant wait til she's potty trained lol. other than that she's a blast. she has already doubled in weight in just about 2 weeks. now she's super playful and loves to bite the shit out of bare feet in sandals lol.

the plants are doing great other than the Rh problem. i got my home made thing up and it's noticeably better. i can feel the difference going from outside to inside there. its low 50's now but i am gonna get a fogger and put it in a huge res with a fan and outlet hose. should get me another 10% i hope.

i am loving this PPK! it is so stable and easy to run thus far. i havent hooked up my float valve and separate res yet. i have just been topping off daily and monitoring the ppm's. the jacks and ppk is about as easy of active hydro as it gets. if youre even a little DIY and resourceful i highly suggest building one. they work great for trees and im sure you could build one with 12 smaller sites pretty easy

awesome thread dh, I'm catching up on it and everything looks killer. both my ppk rooms are overgrown, I'm switching to 4 plant 5 light in both places after these runs

thanks otis. i will get some new pics up thonight. they have exploded under the new 1k. i bet if i would have started under 1k they would have been damn near ready by now. my only problem is that i have a bit uneven growth. two are monsters and the other two are behind but catching up. i guess i will have to flower when the big ones are ready as to not overgrow the tent. its a shame that they arent a bit more uniform but oh well. my only problem now is deciding what strain i wanna do next! thats a tough one.

anyone have a breakdown of the ideal plant characteristics for a vert ppk grow in the 5 v 4 setup? i know it is ideal for them to be a bit stretchy and branchy but other than that i dont know what im shooting for. if i know what im looking for i can further tune my setup accordingly.

got some pics from last night. they have really taken off with the 1k on. i need to get a new hose for my co2 genny and i bet i can get my next crop to flower size in damn near half the time with a 1k and co2.

you might be thinking that there is too many plants under that 1k hps and youre right. the outskirts plants are getting moved to their own home in the next few hours. setting them up in an ebb and grow system under two 600's for another patient. im thinking about setting them up vert bare bulb but i dont know if i have enough fans to pull it off right now.

not much to see here. plants are growing extremely fast in the ppk. my biggest is just over 2x2. im shooting for about 3x3 and then i will flip the switch. my lighting controller should be in soon and then i will have to take a crash course in wiring and get her all set up lol. i think i will be fine. ive changed out outlets, circuirt breakers, ceiling fans etc.

just gotta switch out two 20a breakers for a double 50a and then run my 6-2 grounded either up through the acoustic ceiling in some shielded cable or pvc conduit stuff. should be fun. i love being covered in fiberglass insulation lol
