Baba, I was gonna say that I actually like the Pitt+2.5 this week I also think that the Viks are a good pick too. I like Pitt for a simple reason, they're getting points at home a rarity with a team like them. With the Viks I just think that Clev offense couldn't score points with Richardson so that trend will continue without him. It's also the viks home opener for the year so I think they'll come out swinging and AP leads them to victory.

Stoner, what about my boy? It'll be interesting to see how their record will be after week 8. Kind of upset we didn't get W in KC last week thought we be capable of scoring more than 16 points.

Those are good points Otto, something to keep in mind.

Philly had too many bad luck turnovers, killed too many drives. It wasnt good but the run game still produced. as long as you can run in the nfl the offense wont be too bad. Also KC's defense appears legit, vick didnt seem to have anyone open in the passing game.

azez, i bet people are using evapes with bho in the crowd, those dont leave a smell...

cowboys are 1-1 in whats looking like a terrible nfc east. romo hasnt put up big #'s so far but ive been thinking about trading for him, think he's going to have top 5 qb #'s. he's got a bad win loss record in Dec but i think he's statistically had some big games then, which is when the fantasy playoffs are...

just wondering why he was absent from the chatter and why he wasn't on any fantasy teams here.

the Giants were so busy throwing away that game in Dallas that I turned it off several times, tuning in @ the end I saw it was only a 5 point loss, made me wonder how badly Romo sucked that day as well if the Giants could keep it so close.

Niners look like a different team.

Giants lose to Carolina! Giants are awful.

Lions win!!! Lions win!!!

Brady and his receivers are starting to groove.

Dead wrong about the Vikes.

Breese did have a big day.

Giants are 0-3 and looked terrible doing it. The o-line and defense are below average. No run game, no pass protection and giving up 30+ pts a game is not a recipe for success. I dont think they'll be this bad all season but on the bright side if they get a top two draft pick they can select Clowney...

What's up with CK? Last week he got me neg fantasy points, this week less than 1 fantasy point. If I wanted mark sanchez i would have drafted him.
This is what i was afraid of. CK had me very hopeful after he eviscerated the packers (maybe he just has their number?) but these last two weeks, man. Losing to the hawks in seattle is one thing but for the colts to come in and shut CK down is another, making me pretty nervous...
No Crabtree, now no VD, is it just the receivers he needs? I didnt see the game so cant tell, but someone out there please give me some hope theyll turn this around and quickly, cause i got Pryor and Hoyer on my bench right now, and its 'bout to get real ugly round here...

I suppose teams are reading the 49'ers better now. I always thought Andrew Luck would have a better career than RGIII and Kaeprnick. Time will tell. Wonder if they regret letting Alex Smith Go? Chiefs 3-0.

GB has an awful pass defense that's why Kaep was able to throw for 400 yards against them. I think he's biggest problem is not having any receivers Boldin is a good WR but not a legit #1 threat he's too old and slow, now he is a perfect compliment to a speedy receiver. Not having Crabtree out their also kills him that was Kaeps boy and most trusted reciever, and the biggest problem with kaep is going through is progressions. Teams even up to last year in the playoffs were starting to pick up on how if you took away his number 1 option in the pass play he has a hard time checking down to the other receivers. Teams are picking up on the pistol offense and are daring the QB to run so they can get some big hits on him. Kaep is still young, filled with talent, and has a rocket for an arm so expect him to only get better.

Wish I would have taken the Niners tonite.
'Krapernick' didnt look half bad. Would have had a lot more passing yards if they werent running so much to run the clock.
Guess he took all the criticism, used it as motivation, and got really serious. he doesnt seem to smile as much.

Reggie is looking like the player he should have been coming out of USC. Never quite fulfilled his potential with the Saints but did help them win a superbowl.

Bad Jay showed up yesterday and accounted for 4 TO's.
Meanwhile, Peyton has thrown 16 tds and 0 interceptions.

DONTE WHITNER CHANGING NAME TO DONTE HITNER?

DONTE WHITNER CHANGING NAME TO DONTE HITNER?

DONTE WHITNER CHANGING NAME TO DONTE HITNER?

Donte WhitnerSan Francisco 49ers

49ers safety Donte Whitner isn’t afraid to punish an opponent if the right occasion presents itself. It’s a part of playing the position. He’s an enforcer and playing for the 49ers’ tough-as-nails defense comes at a price.

So, while Whitner plans to appeal his $21K fine for a hit on Rams receiver Chris Givens, he fired off a tweet about an impending name change.

Whitner has been referred to ‘Hitner’ for years because of his hard-hitting style, but now Whitner’s lawyer has filed paperwork to make it official by removing the “W” — but not before running it by his mother first. Another point of contention could be the potential jersey sales. Whitner has reached out to Nike to see how many Whitner jerseys are on the racks and if he would need to contribute to make the switch.

Oh yes, a name change. We haven’t seen this one before. Donte Hitner. Has a nice ring to it. Wait a minute. It doesn’t have a good ring to it. Try saying it three times fast.

Maybe Mr. Whitner — err Hitner — needs to think this one through.

just too dam funny..... LMFAO
