Help!!!!

Hi gp I followed the thread and glad to see things pulled through... A few thing come to mind

I have misted plants at nit with neem oil (organic) all the way to harvest with no visible decrease in potency or flavor. It is a powerful fungicide and insecticide but has no adverse health effects for people (it is a contraceptive thogh). It is systemic so best applies diluted from young age.

During mid to late flower, I start cutting down on watering, allowing the plants to droop heavily before watering. This is because they are holding so much more weight in the buds, in water, and do not need as much in the root zone to survive

Also, I like to get my fingers in the larger colas and pull the buds aside slightly, kind of like training them so there is more airflow through the dense colas. Some colas are just too dense for their own good

Woop

Also re- drying in the shed. Y. I would dry in the same room but set air flow with a carbon filter (even a cheap dryer carbon filter from the hardware store) to neutralize some of the gasses coming off the bud before it goes back in to the air with the plants. If it is not possible just set the fan in with the plants and drying buds so the air is being filtered within the shed

It's powdery mildew.
lower your humidity.
It also looks like you have or had spider mites
spray this stuff to kill both, but follow directions carefully. test on a small bud first.

also get more direct light on your buds. it prevents p.m.

Sorry but you are way off base on this one. I'd be willing to be my entire crop what is in OP's pics is not powder mildew. The pics aren't high enough quality to be positive but it pretty clearly looks like mold. PM starts on the leaves not the bud.

Okay doke. Yes, I like the air out there now, the air inside my house scares the crap out of me, as it relates to mold anyway...

Yes, another gent was also stressing the positive effects of neem oil. Now that I have the humidity wrangled I will consider this. It seems smart to be proactive.

Regarding the rot, whoah! I was trippin. I figured is walk out therecand they'd just all be garbage. I didn't even know bud could do that. Such a newbie. Well I can honestly say I forever be vigilant on the humidity now. Throwing that big bubblegum cola away was a heartbreak. :(
But honestly if the rest comes through ill be happy because I couldve lost it all.

GP,
When your you recover financially, go online and order some Actinovate. That's a fungicidal bacteria that you spray you plants with. It's not very expensive, and its a great preventive. Spray about 2 weeks into bloom so it will be inside the buds as the calyxes start stacking up. Do this about every 2 weeks. Continue with the humidity control.

A good thing would be to scrub the room air constantly with a centrifugal fan and carbon filter. This takes the fungal spores out of the air. Plenty of info on ICMag on how to match your cu. ft. with which fan and filter. Cuts down on odor.

Go to the stickies in Cannabis Infirmary and read up on Spider Mites. Figure out a preventive approach. Check my posts on the subject, and consider them among the other remedies. There are a good many ways that work for people, but I prefer not smoking nor exposing myself to chemicals. Get what you need and have it on hand. Most pests multiply exponentially, and quick action is best.

Hang Yellow Sticky Traps and check them very often. You most of the time see pests on them before you notice them on the plants. [Not mites]

If you're now going to have a sealed or near sealed room you'll need to consider adding CO2. No need to go for optimal 1000 ppm. Just need to keep it from going below 400 ambient.

Do all this and other research while you're relaxing under the influence of the mighty fine bud you just saved. Enjoy. Good luck. -granger

it is definable some sort of fungus, but i see your point. it is more like mycelia, or something. This is generally a precursor to some sort of bud rot. Hopefully the general anti fungal with kill it.

check your inner nugs for rot too GP
