A Cal/Mag additive will help keep things green. 
i'm adding CalMag+ at 4-5ml/gal to every feeding (alternating with just water). Should i add it to every watering instead of just 1/week?A Cal/Mag additive will help keep things green.

It's an ECSD hybrid so I would say ya, every watering. I did 6-9 recipe on mine w/ fresh water between feedings... Stayed fairly green long enough, but next round ill go cal/mag all the way thru.

The only great lesson I've learned over the yrs with low ph RO water is adding cal-mag to my 50 gal water tank at 250ppms.It brings the ph up from 5.4 to 5.8 and stabilizes it(My 5gal jugs don't ph drift over a day or two this way).Then I add another 1.25 tsp/gal and then the same old routine most everybody here uses to some degree, 6ml micro, 9ml bloom, 1/3 tsp of dry koolbloom and 1 tsp silica blast etc.I probably use more cal-mag than anything and I use it every watering.This is all in coco/hydro.....With soil I'd use some every watering too, it can't hurt!
I want to ask all you guys your opinion about vap/dab pens. I just ordered an Atmos thermo W version 2. So I'd like to know what you guys think about that one or recommend I get something else?
It's mostly going to be used with BHO. But will use it sometimes w shatter. When it comes to these utensils I'm not knowledgable like some of you so your advise is appreciated. Thanks

Just popped a bunch of Early Pearl x Mullum Super 5.All 30 germed, I expect they'll be above the rockwool this morning.I'm still smoking some EP from the last run, the flowers are delicious even sitting in a paper bag all summer in my cabinet.I'm going to smoke some first thing as soon as I check those seeds, I don't need 30 plants though!!

Slip your totally right ..... that EP is a special girl and those buds from the bag are tasty ..... those ep x ms5 should be insane ...... the mullum is from kangativa? I wanna grow sativa like that!!
Went out to my girls yesterday .... got 9 females left after bugs and slugs cleated out a few and I chopped a bunch of males.
Top 3 plants are .... blue blood @ 15" tall and looks like it should turn into one single cola getting some grape aromas out of her.... nl5/haze @ 20" with 4 nice tops only @ week 1 of flower ..... should run to some point in November? I can't wait to see how she does .... if its good I'll run a few full season and see how big I can get em ....... and the best one is a cj x strawberry diesel at 3' and in flower about 3 wks .... got a few runts here and there .... hopefully get a few oz of free smoke for the next couple months

I have another one ID, both smell identical, the sweet pineapple of my A-11 genetics coming thru, but I like the one OD way more, thick, fuzzy pistils that look nothing like the sibling or the parental stock.
I'll get a pic next cloudy day, way too bright out today!

The other day I drained the leachate from my worm farm.
I added a dollop of molasses and filled the jug up w/ h2o and bubbled it 24 hrs before feeding her w/ it.
Man, she looked super-happy about it this a.m.

Inspired by this conversation (and thinking of Kanga sitting in jail right now) last night I decided to spark up for the first time in 6 weeks.
Out came the jar of MMs5
It has been in the jar now for 4 months.
I did a single hit in a freshly cleaned glass pipe and I was seriously fried.
Afraid that it wasn't a full dose and would wear off prematurely, I took a second hit.
That did it
TASTE
It tastes like a kush, but not sweet lemony/citric like an OG or even a chem. Very savory with an exotic asian funk. Ortega's maple afghan hash influence is clear in the earthy teriyaki fumes.
The smell and the taste match perfectly.
EFFECT
Body:
Strong anti-inflamitory effect combined with stimulating "soaring" high. Effect is instant, but it keeps coming on stronger for about 10-15 minutes.
My body aches have been bothering me lately and they were reduced by about 60%. Not the strongest anti-inflammation strain I have in this regard, but very good.
The stimulating high was dominant over the body effect. The combination of these 2 effects inspired me to run.
I ran about 2 miles around my neighborhood. Normally I feel winded around a half mile.
My body felt like it was in peak condition. Everything working like it should and without the aches and pains.
There was no shortness of breath, no muscle or joint soreness. I could have run 5 miles without sweating. Classic sativa effect.
Mind:
I mentioned stimulating. Obviously it has a physical stimulant effect, inspiring and enabling physical work with it's unique combination of effects. It also has a mentally stimulating effect. The head is active and not fuzzy. It is not really trippy. It has some of the floaty sativa effect. I could see myself laughing a lot with friends as it was passed around between us, but I don't think we would solve any ancient riddles while on it. It's not that kind of buzz.
WHATS MISSING
Flower time is an issue. The MMs5 by itself needs some tricks to flower properly indoors. It's also about a 12-14 week cycle to full maturity, so bringing that down to 10 weeks would be nice.
Structure: Giant plant, very strong branches can support lots of weight, flowers are of the ping pong ball type (super dense like rocks) but if allowed to grow large would probably produce big big colas.
Could stand to have something that brings the flower structure together and produces fuller branches with solid colas for indoor environments. Shrinking the stature a bit with the change in flower structure would make it a better fit for indoor.
Taste: I would like to add some "zing" to the flavor. The EP has a foundation of rare primo Mexican in the smell/taste (without the skunk in most keepers today) that I think would be just the ticket.
Like Nevil says, that cross is gonna "fizz."

All the EP X Mullum S5's came up.I'd better go out and grab a tent asap.I have just enough space for a 3x3.I had a big paper grocery bag full of untrimmed EP branches so I started to trim out the bag as I'm running low on sinsemilla.I'd forgotten how many gems were left in the bag.It was full of buds like these...I honestly think this is my favorite herb.I just about filled a quart jar with buds and still have some to cut.A nice 3 month cure!

can't say how happy i am the Number Nine is working out for ya... im just excited for the rest of the group to start drooling for her! put her in a 'sweet spot' and she can fuckkkking yield! i've pulled over a QP off a 2gal pot.. and those were the days when i used horizontal lighting.

Raho, I admire your control in not smoking w/ jars about. I could really stand a break but I'm weak w/ too many jars around.

I need a tripod and my kid always has the one we use at work, if it's at home.I have very little control of my right hand, mmj is a necessity to help stabilize it. It's numb as hell right now from hauling my canoe up the beach. Sometimes I feel like a real cripple.I'm going to have to replace all my odor control units, I'm failing hard right now.That's alright with leaves on the trees but soon enough I'll need to take the plunge and spend some $$.
HL, the first 3 days are the hardest for me. Substituting a couple strong mixed drinks at the end of the day can help, even though I prefer not to drink :-(
After 3 days, you are pretty much dealing with the world without your medicine if part of the reason you use it is self-medicating some issue.
Imagine how the avg prozac patient would react to that change.
I find I can still be a bit grumpy for a full week or two. After that, you're on your own.
Good old red pill reality world waitin for ya.
Clarity in our brains is not something we should take for granted.
At the same time, we should appreciate the value of a good buzz ;-)
I get a lot of benefits from herb. I missed the deep, comfortable, uninterrupted sleep the maybe the most.

Haha hl I know I know. .. I mentioned kanga cause I want to grow sativa like that! So huge that you'll walk past thinking its a 15' sapling lol .... next year you'll see some 10'+ girls but I was late to pull the trigger this season ..... started a batch of beans in early may so they could sex on my deck before the females went out in the bush .... but ran into some compilations and those died due to heat ..... so I started another batch early June which didn't go out till first week of august :-/...... all the plants that went out are double the size that I put em out at..... it doesn't bother me cause its free smoke for a couple months .... plus I'd rather know this year on a 15" nl5h if it will do well in our climate.
Guys that have grown the nl5h ...... how big of a stretch does she get? Cause 15" at week 1 could double in size from now till November ..... which would be nice but anything is better than nothing.
Got a better plan in place this year and will have maybe 20 clones vegged up and semi root bound in solo cups come June .... with maybe another 20 plants from seed. My goal is to get a year worth of free organic flowers and to make a cross that will be geared to our climate. I'm hoping to work w MOB, lvpk, cush, g.goat, nl5h, durban, couple diff OG cuts and few crosses from seed. Should be fun but I'll be starting the seeds in march so they will be big come may/June and no males will be put out.
Sourcing coco and amendments this winter to cook all winter and spring at my sites for a combo of mounds and swamp tubes

Oh slip .... I got a 4x4 tent you can use for as long as you need as my grow is torn down...... its not the best ..... has a few pin holes here and there easy to cover w duct tape and the zipper gets stuck at the top but other than that its nice construction.... just let me know and I'll make it happen.

Raho .... VN write up! Me and the girl are doing a forced break to save cash for moving and she can't make it past day 1 Lol ..... and she don't drink a drop so that's a no go ..... I've had to go on breaks before but she hasn't so I guess the first time is the hardest
