Hey all, like to welcome you to my grow! This is the first indoor grow ive done in around 10 years! hell id only done 2 before and i was young so didnt really know to much. But ive been studying here alot and waited patiently for my chance to grow again and the time has come!

I would first like to thank a few people that have been a great inspiration for my cab ideas. Firstly, Verdantgreen! this grow was mainly inspired from his work with his 250w hps organic mod scrog. I even got the same reflector as him! I think the way he grows with a 250w really gets the best out of it, and im gona try my best to do as well! I was originally planning on going organic soil, but ive always wanted to try coco, and after hearing about dialahempys bucket style, it seemed like the perfect idea! so hence the coco hempy scrog!

So about my grow room, its a quite large stealth cupboard, with mirrored sliding doors. 3 compartments, veg chamber which links to the thin drying room, then vents into the flowering cab, approx 2x3 x 6 ft tall. i have a 5" temperature speed controlled prima kilna fan, (which turned out to be quite loud so i had to make alot of silencing, but more on that later) and a rhino pro carbon scrubber, which im really impressed with so far. i plan on running 4 plants flowering in the scrog, currently i have 4 FMS Pure AK to get me started. I love fruity flavors! (hence the name) and i originally pick this packet up as i wanted to find a cherry pheno ak but its prob very unlikely to be even in this strain, but nether the less ive read good things about it! Im also running a few of my homemade AF strains at the moment as im dry and couldnt wait for the ak! they are sum mixed crosses with great taste and smell from lemon cleaner to coffee flavour! any way il let some pics do the talking...

Heres a close up of the veg side. Theres also some clones i took from the aks at the back (my first clones!) they have all routed and growing now even with my very basic plastic bag style lol!



My veg light is a home made pl-l fixture. it has 2x 55w bulbs in. i made the reflector my self by bending a sheet of aluminum into shape. I find this is a very effective light! and only cost about £22 to make!

Now on to the flowering side. The aks are alot bigger since the last few picks. ive top twice and transplanted into my 12l buckets. i use another 10l bucket to sit each individual hempy in to catch any run off ( just 4 plants, thats the mirrored secret door!)




heres the flower cab roof. i have the carbon filter inside with the fan outside in a acoustic box i made, which then vents thru a double silencer on top of the wardrobe. it just sounds like a pc fan when i walk in the room ( before it sounded like a fighter jet!!) the light is a 250w diamond refelctor with digi ballst, currently with MH bulb on 18/6 cycle



Heres the buckets currentley settling in! i had trouble with not feeding them enough at the start hence the yellowing, but i beleive its under control atm. I am currently feeding with Canna Terra vega as im trying to use it up before i buy some coco specific nutes. i also have some potsil ( silica) which ive added twice now and already seeing the difference in the stems!

Thats it for now il post some more soon detailing how i made my sileceners and acoustice box if any ones intrested, and once ive got the screens fitted. this is my first time coco, and first time scroging so if im doing any thing wrong or u have advice let me know!

Just so you know the seeds i have lined up are some fms c99 ( loooove the sound of a quick sativa and yummy pineapple and some sweet tooth #4 ibl ( cant wait to try these but wana get some practice first. Il be looking to keep mother plants but its all new to me so il see how i get on!

Fitted the screen 10 inches above the base, first time scrogging and was a bit unsure how it was going to work, but now ive got it on its really simple and i can already see how effective its going to be! The day after i took this pic growth had exploded! i think the roots had definatly hit the bottom so i switched to 12/12 after 57 days veg from seed. i think tbh the plants are probably going to overfill im running out of squares to bend the growth back into! Fast plants thats for sure. The plants are also looking alot happier now i got some epsom salts and have been adding that to the feed. They certainly are drinking alot! 5L between the 4 of them every two days! Stil using the MH bulb for now, not sure how long is the norm thinking first week of 12/12?

An update on things, harvesting 3 of my AF plants, I am currently working on a breeding program i have made about 200 seeds, split between 6 different mothers with the pollen of one male, i am doing runs from each pack to pick my favorite to cross 2 females to make some Feminized auto flower seeds. as this would save alot of time and numbers when running these! auto flowers are great if your trying to squeeze a quick grow in if u need bud in a rush! i made these seeds from a lucky gem mix pack i bought from Secret garden seeds. so thanks SGS! i had a few lemon strains, some bigger skunky ones, and some smaller pink ones with berry tones. I hope to stabilize the lemon smelling strain, and also the Pink berry one! this current run seems to be dominate with the skunky tones, so im trying another pack next. any way, some harvest pics for you! these were grown under the 110w pl-l only.

Update on the pure AK. did the final training and switched to the HPS bulb on day 6 of flowering as went away for a few days. come back and the growth has once again been explosive! so far cant fault this coco hempy style, this is my first grow in years but i already think this is going to a damn good yield! guess all the years of reaseach is paying off!

weight in on first 3 AF, the one bud indica dom yield 4.5 grams, the other two 4 grams. not smoked yet but they smell nice! harvested another 3 tonight, there is a purplely pink one that is my fave out of this round sum close up pics. nice fruity smell to it!

Added some new batches of homebrew to the drying chamber as they give off co2 which will feed straight into the flower cab and blow into the middle of the buds

Day 16 on the Pure AKs and look at the explosive growth! filled out nicely and buds starting to form. Picked up some mollases today so started added that to the feed. im waiting in regents to arrive for my homemade PK boost will start added that as soon as it arrives!

onto day 26 now. i had sum surprising stretch difference between the 4 phenotypes. number 3 stretch loads to more than double! i had to raise the others to level out the canopy. no2 stretched the least which is odd as i fort no1 would as it has the most indica leaves.

all different smells coming thru to! no1 reaks of skunky shit!

no2 has a realy nice fruity smell! ( i think this is going to be the keeper at this rate!)

no3 is unusual cant pinpoint it atm but different again

and no 4 has a skunky shitty fruity smell, kinda a combo of them all lol!

any way ive started adding sum homemade PK 8 - 16 boost to the mix as the buds are forming vey fast now! cant get over how rapid the growth has been! coco hempys ftw! plus they are loving all the ferts i can throw at them. and if im home il water daily, sometimes its every other day, or like last weekend i went away for 3 nights and they were stil fine when i got back! a very easy way to grow for sure.

day 30 here, took all the plants out the room to empty drip buckets and get a closer look, and unfortunatly found a nasty suprise. pure AK no2, which was my favourate, is showing male parts! but "touch wood" they seem to be sterile as i cant see any pollen dropped any where even though some of them have opened. ive not had experience with this before so if any 1 knows if i should be worried or not let me kno! for now im just going to keep an eye on it...

no, 1 and 4 are identical pretty much in appearance and smell, 2 was my fav before it hermied being the squat fast growing one with big fruity nugs, no. 3 seems completely different in apperace much more sativa with way more strech, thicker whiter pistils, and deformed leafs. heres no 3:



Ive had a little bleaching on the top buds so ive rasied the light a few inches. also the weather here is wet cold and very humid and its getting as high as 89% in the flowering cab when the lights are off! comes down to around 69% when there on, so im going to have to address this before the buds get to big. ordered one of them rechargable dehumidfiers to put in the room see if that helps.

Ok so update at day 37!

Wow alot has changed, my new favourate is #3 i mean look at it! the pistils are so much bigger and whiter and it is going to have the biggest buds, this is the strain that was the most stretchy out of the 4 and i think it will take 10-14 days longer but looks to be nice.

this is my favourate bud on #3.... its gona be a big one!

# 2 will finish fastest, it has thrown alot of nanners, but i think there sterile, atleast i cant see any pollen coming out of any, even #1 has 1 or 2 nanners on it. aslong as i dont get load of seed itll be fine but can see why some people dont mess with feminized seeds now! question is, how soon will it finish? do u think somehwere around day 50 mark? if so i guess i should start flushing.

Ive been having some lighting trouble, (my light hasnt been firing up every day,) so sometimes id come home at 9 and the light was off, so its has suffered some 8 hour days, hell, i stay away sometimes so maybe even some days of no light! which probably contributes to the nanners, but im trying to resolve this so next run wont suffer the same problems. but apart from the troubles, i think this set up is gona be great when its dialed in! looking forward to trying some more strains already!

Quick update, i am at day 57 today, i was planning on harvesting the first 3 tomorrow, but under inspection i stil cant see any amber. The buds are well formed and mainly brown pistills but they seem to be doing sum late foxtailing here and there looking very pretty! it was been 2 weeks since i started flushing the fisrt three now, so if i dont harvest tomorrow next chance will be friday what you guys think? harvest day 58 or wait till 61?

Heres AK # 3. Its a bit different to the others. It had streched alot more, formed bigger colas, and will take atleast another 7-12 days. But it is beautiful! when u rub the buds its gives off a mentholy eucalyptus fruity cherry smell, kinda like cherry cough drops! cant wait to vape it hopefully it keeps the flavour! #2 has a similar flavour, and is a complete trainwreck! the only thing holding them buds up are the walls and the other plants besides it! one of these will be keepers for sure. # 1 and #4 have a skunky afgan smell with cheese undertones. #1 being the strongest of the two. it might be a keeper to! will see how they weigh in and taste!

btw,this thread is so great, fully documented with pics and rich in narrative description, cannot understand why so few folks comment here??

anyways, in your position i would wait longer than 61days, especially that you see no amber.
they will certainly foxtail even more but i wouldn't be bothered by that! as you may have noticed, i experience some foxtailing in the rabbit burrow currently and i also like it. the only issue is the fact that some of the buds stretch somewhat and become loose, less dense.

in one of the earlier posts you mentioned acoustic box and some work you did to silence off the exhaust system - could you share some pics and explain what you did exactly?

your setup is quite similar to mine: coco, scrog, hempy. i now use 160W of CFL but want to kick off with 250W HPS too once winter is over.
