I walked thru the gemshow parking lot a few years ago, it was fascinating.

What I'd really like to check out is the dog show.

Hey Avi, did you know that some dogs are from Maine and that some dogs are from Massachusetts?

.....
i dont get it...

i'd hit up a dog show, monster trucks also on my list (never been, expect to be disappointed tho)

I have some friends who will be selling at the gem show, not sure if inside or outside, if you buy some very nice crystals from a father and son pair named Mountain Dave and Little Dave, you'll know you have the right ones if they specialize in Topaz they pull from a vein here in CO, tell them the clown says "Hi" :)

Neither do I Avi. Although I always got a bad vibe from the dog in Maine.

Oh, I did check out Super Dogs last winter which was very cool.

Peace.

They would only remember me as the guy who used to trim with them wearing insane clown posse t-shirts, so yes, "The Clown" :wtf:

It was nice to see sunshine this morning in the foothills.

Indeed. Yesterday was beautiful here in Denver, with a hint of Fall in the air in the morning. The forecast is good for the rest of the week.

Extended rain & clouds aren't what we're accustomed to around here. I think I'd have trouble living anywhere that it was the norm. It's a bit of a downer for me, even w/o the flooding nearby.

It's been a helluva weird year so far, with both fires & floods. At this rate, it wouldn't surprise me if we end up having snow up to our armpits.

crazy rough what happened out in CO....who could have predicted floods like this. thats why i always buy my properties at high elevation floods are absolutely no joke and can destroy entire cities. once i saw the video of the tsunami in japan i made sure to never live in a flood zone..

Conditions are key.
I clone direct into dirt, typically my small (one ounce maybe) clone trays are are showing white roots out the bottom in 5-7 days (no shit). They are transplanted after 10-14 days into 4x4 pots, and after 30 days total veg they go to flower.
I use 45% angles on my snips, and chopstick to create hole in soil.
Use a sharp blade to make slits and scrape the skin off any part of plant going in soil, dip that whole part into clone gel. Pack the soil firmly. Mist well, drop a dome on it and always, always, always use a heated germination pad underneath the dome.
With this method I get 100% roots every time. Allows me the comfort of selecting the best clones or dis guarding the stragglers.

Any questions about my methods just holla. I'm willing to coach, teach, etc.

Great tip about the heated pad, I would have forgotten that.

Ok, here are some pics of the bubble cloner I did yesterday. I put some cuttings in it today.

I had 3 medium sized aquarium air pumps already so I just went and grabbed the container, 3 18" bubble bars and a thermometer. I put my heating mat under it to keep it at 78*f

I used liquid cloning gel when taking these cuttings. I also put a few drops of SUPERthrive in the water. I got some good island sweet skunk clones. My other two moms gave me some decent cuttings but after putting them in they started to droop pretty bad. I sprayed them with some RO water (which is what is in the cloner too) and put the old dome over them but it doesn't seem to hold much humidity so I may just ditch it.

All you have to do in this set up is simply leave the holes open that don't have clones I them open and the humidity will rise up through them.

Hope everyone is staying above water, sorry to hear about those that lost plants etc.

My backyard filled with water, but beyond that no problems here:

Just started my first grow a couple of months ago, sooooo with there being an abundance of elite growers here, I hope I can soak in some knowledge.
