looks pretty good man. I have retired from bho/iso extracts UNTILL i get a proper vac purge set up going.. I do love me some full melt pink bubble hash tho :)

big ups!

thanks Paradox
:tiphat:

I once made BHO in the most rudimentary of ways back in '07 to see what the 'buzz' was all aboot.

Being a keep it simple kinda guy I figured I leave the fancy stuff to the 'pros'

Have always enjoyed edibles and knowing my way around the kitchen was another way to medicate and share with others.

Now this seems like an easy way to add another tool to the arsenal.

The bubble hash dealio is another one that I've mulled over the years
:blowbubbles:

Thanks for stopping by and droppin some letters on my gig
:thank you:

Just watched the QWISO vid, another good one, I like the tea-towel trick with double boiler.

I'm looking forward to the next installment.

I know I have to get some type of vap rig to really appreciate what I've made, doing hits thru ash tastes like :moon:

I do however really dig my kief and have zero reservations in 'supercharging' a doobie or putting some on top of a bowl :woohoo:

thanks again for your continued support

Hope u had a great weekend.

I picked up a cloud 2.0 vap pen. And I AM IN LOVE.

A little budder or wax or whatever you want to call it and wow..... Noticable pain relief very quickly and tasty and easy on lungs. Just have to ensure it is FULLY purged. :)

Thanks bfp
the weekend was a gooder, made a lot of progress on my barn (many hours spent peeling logs, I find it relaxing and gives me time for some deep introspection)
:tumbleweed:

I'll look up that vap pen dealio you mentioned as well (maybe you should post a pic of it while your hitting it with your lizard face on!)

from the research I've done on concentrates I've come to the conclusion that I had made 'wax' and hopefully with practice and being able to maintain my principle of K.I.S.S. that my 'experiments' will improve.

like the 'cure' for flowers it seems that the 'purge' is equally important but again I'm not one to get too high tech or fancy and as long as it is up to my standards (which are stupidly high, lol) it'll work for me.

sounds like your weekend was spent in the Cloud

afterthought!
input please and thank you pertaining to this question.

In your opinions what is the best way to maintain a smaller (2'-3') mothers for intermittent cloning?

my last ones were way too big and and space is a factor, so I would like to keep several smaller moms to rotate for cuttings, while keeping them as healthy and happy as can be....

thoughts?
ideas?
hair brained telemarketing scams....?
anyone

I cut cut clones from vegging ladies prior to the flip...

Cut enough to ensure the line continues, pitch any excess...

Works for me.

No mom's required....I veg for 8weeks so lots of cloning material before the flip. I will also use the tops I cut off during the first pruning and toss them in a cloner JIK....If I am working with a strain that I have had trouble cloning.

I have done this in the past but have heard that you end up breeding down the plants properties by continually doing this.

Is this some type of cultivation urban legend?

I am pretty sure it is best to always go from seed OR have a dedicated mother from seed to get your cuts off of.

If I am working with a strain that I have had trouble cloning.

My Chili Honey God is like that, what a bitch!
I have never encountered a plant that was so difficult to clone as she is, I have had limited success but will have to work with her over the winter and see if different 'techniques' will help as she is a strain I would like to keep going.

thanks for stopping by billy big bud, threads coming along and helps keep my noise neat and in one place for the most part.

thanks for dropping by bfp, always appreciate your .02 cents

Urban myth IMHO. If this was the case then all the clone only cuts I have had would have been ditch weed... Some were going around for 10-15yrs back in the day before I got popped.

My sativa hybrid that smells like shotgun'd skunk has been going around for over a decade.

Plant tissue is plant tissue is plant tissue.

They call it CLONING for a reason...

Now if you are flipping, re-vegging, and cloning I could see some "instability"..aka hermiprodism...

but I have only done this once to re-bud out a monster tree that re-vegged on its own and I didn't take cuts so I have no idea if the strain would have lost any of it's vigor, etc...

it sometimes happens over decades, but not always.

I think this might be more of not growing a plant to it's potential..but then the oldest cuts I have are around 10- 15yrs old...From what I have been told they have never changed...which is why they are kept..

On the other hand I don't know a single grower who has ever had their product scientifically tested over the course of 10-15yrs.. Comparing the data over the years.......ALL the while trying to keep controls in place...

IM-F-ing-Possible....LOL

Cheers
I'd really like a 100% concrete answer to this one tho

it is a 100% answer, why would i say it if i didnt have experience on it? we had a strain for 20 years in our area, and it became a pale shadow of its former glory. not just by my account, many people agree. but other things have lasted 20 years seemingly unchanged.

Curious about the blueberry.

I used to have a really nice DJ short blueberry in 2000'ish. Yield was low...but the taste, smell, and high were stellar. But it was the taste that I used to love....sweet and fruity on exhale from first puff to damn near the roach.

I sure do wish I could remember who my partner shipped copies of our cuts out too back in the day out in BC, only thing of mine that went was my Blueberry.

Is that the norm now, except I would imagine the yield is better.... I will say the nug's were rock hard and nothing like any of the other Blueberry beans that popped from the same bag...they were nice..just didnt have the uber-fruity smell/taste...mine also turned purple if the temps dropped a touch (my other strains wouldnt with just a little dip)...quite easily and didn't like to be fed much..

damn rambling again....
