Maybe its time someone should start making some grow pools with lips for a lid and net pots. Maybe a little thicker.

Tyere are different sizes so we would need to figure which one as a standard. Amd lighting I would think wouod depend on pool size/grow area?

I dont see any cfl worriors of or 400watters dipping into a kiddie pool challange. I just see 1k being the best option for the size of the foorprint or 2 600s at th least. Also I plan to do vert and 2 different mediums for shits n giggles. Thinking coco and rdwc both vert with 6 plants and a 360 trellis net and lazy suzan if possible.

I think having the plants rotate around the light would make a huge difference especially at low speed.

I like the 45" pools as far as size.
Will fit in any 4' space and is easy to work with.

I used a 600 with 8 plants each and this proved to be too many plant.

If you take the plants out of the Air/smart pots and let the roots go,they get a lot bigger than the ones left in pots..
Kong went 6' and BATF was closer to 7'..
Even though they had the chance to grow beyond the pots into the pool mix.
The roots barley moved out of the pot.
Kong was out of the pot and its trunk was x3 of any others.


I'm trying 4 ladies this time with stacked Vert 600s and I get the feeling this is going to still get a little gnarly come final stretch ..
I'm shooting for just fat colas with no side branching, so I'm hoping this will be a little more manageable ..
I suppose it really depends on size when it come to plant count.
Less veg if more plants..

I wonder about 1 tree with 3- 600s around it.. Trained right.. oh my.. lol

As far as spinning plants around the light..
From what I read(not that I know) The plant's will use energy chasing the shifting light waves. .
A stacked set up will put this energy back into growth. ..

Makes sence. I only have 1x600 and 1x400 and 3x1000 so if I wanna stack its gonna be 2x1kw or maybe 400 at the bottom where the screen will be closer and 600 at the top if I stick with the cone style vert trellis screen.

I have that same size pool so im in forsure because I also have a 4x4 tent for bloom.

Not sure what strain I will run though and im leaning towards coco with blumats and no LS for the first run.

Would be cool if everyone ran the same cut, would make the adventure a wee bit more interesting. Would make for an epic thread if a half doZen got into it.

I dont have any local sources for known strains. A lot of people around me like to make up shit to whats already a known strain so its hard to know whats really around here unless they are fellow icmaggers.

Strains ive been eyeballing online are subcool qrazy train amd cali connection blackwater, still lookin around though.

found these plastic racks at a plastic warehouse ,were so cheap,it was funny!,equivalent of 10 dollars,lol,they can be taken apart ,have rolley wheels,can be used for clones and propagation ,can be used as a two tier for a 400 or 600,they you can stack them pretty high!

these are the just the parts list,for the pools , no design yet,but gives you a idea of where im heading ,still got an awesome idea for the drip manifold and fan!but only so much in one day.....

the only thing holding me back now are my beans,im waitin still,other than that i should be ready to rock and roll!,got my 2 by 2 frames built,and putting it all together this week!
