hola retired knights. finally got all the green chile roasted and peeled . worse than trimming plants. been raining off and on for a week here, low of 69 ,high in the 80's

oiled my chain on my beach cruzer just in case I ride it again someday, lol

I just put the chile in freezer bags and into the freezer. my ass has been on fire for three days from eating chile. its kinda like bubba from forest gump, chile rellenos, chile wrapped beef ribs, the list goes on and on

Do you grow you own chile? I've been growing chile for about 10 years. For roasters I do Big Jims, Joe E Parkers and 64 sourced from nmsu.

my joe e parkers were insanely hot this year,must have been the expensive flowering nutes leftover from the garden...
next year the whole bed will be chili,the joe e parker and big jim for sure,maybe some chmayo red on the shady side...tomatoes in big smart pots...one plant per pot...
the smart pot garden i have going is doing good with the rain...morning glory is blooming...

nice garden 3rd, I'm joking it's just that most folks (not just northerners ) don't appreciate the hot shit.. I found a pack of those when I moved to Boise years ago in the green house of a casa I bought but they had been in the sun too long... Funny thing NMSU is my amamateur.

c'mon,pot growers are the worst growers in the world,no one else spends as much nursing a plant through its brief life...try growing a cactus in a dollars worth of stuff for 15 years until you can sell it for 75 dollars....
