I didn't see anything regarding the 'private' cultivation and consumption of cannabis in those two links........ or did I just not read far enough, or thoroughly enough?

But yes, It looks like they are trying to make it difficult to hand them Billions of additional tax Dollars.

I particularly like the 'Good Moral Character' references. lol

Private cultivation is covered in A64 itself, section 3-

http://www.regulatemarijuana.org/s/regulate-marijuana-alcohol-act-2012

"Enclosed locked space", "openly", & "publically" are terms as yet undefined by case law. I'd think that indoor growing under lights obviously satisfies all the requirements. Opaque greenhouses are likely legal. Outdoor cultivation may be legal under the right circumstances.

OTOH, penalties for improper cultivation don't seem to be defined at all, other than having too many plants remains a felony.

thanks I get real confused now that its kinda legal.all the laws seem to be written in a language made for a lawer not a stoner.

So if you have a pass drug felony you won't ever be able to work in colorados mj industry?
When applying for entry into the mmj industry, arrest records are evaluated on a case by case basis, they usually look at the official record and comments on the case, and in a lot of cases, where they see nothing that catches the eye (selling to minors, selling large amounts, charges related to other narcotics, violence, etc) they give you the green stamp.

Not sure if this will continue under the new system, or if they will strictly enforce a set of different standards.

^^^ smurph know it....
its basically the same kinda background check you would have to go thru for a job in a casino, a lil more in depth perhaps, operation involuntary colonoscopy... just bend over.
but all in all, not too hard to get a badge, but i would say that a past drug felony, in the last 8 years... not gonna look good obviously, but dont let that discourage you.

any hoo...
yall notice that only MIPs will be allowed to produce solvent based extracts, and OPC's and dispensaries can only make water hash?

Ya sadly that is true. Great for you're $ ambitions but terrible for a lot of people who put in many a hours outdoors. Haven't had the chance to check mine out yet... here's hoping.
The yearly fall flood of the market this year was looking more aggressive than usual, imo for the overall health of the market this wet season has been good, preventing a pre-retail crash in prices.

People who had all their bets hedged on outdoor won't see the benefit, but people with mixed tickets will find their remaining payouts larger.

On another positive note, moldy harvests mean more solvent type concentrates, as that's the only safe way of processing such material, so the recent shortage of shatter should resolve itself as these outdoor plants come in.

I'm over the rain that's for sure!

My only two in flower are my outdoor girls, I'm keeping a close eye for mold and PM, so far it looks like they faired well.

We certainly didn't get the rain that other parts of town did, thoughts and prayers for those who got hit harder than myself

I walked thru the gemshow parking lot a few years ago, it was fascinating.

What I'd really like to check out is the dog show.

Hey Avi, did you know that some dogs are from Maine and that some dogs are from Massachusetts?
