if youre scrogging here is the cleanest design, pvc trellis frame goes inside the tray, you can double trellis if your going that big

you can use 1/2 or 3/4 just make sure to put supports in or it will sag, use vertical support in the middle like in the 2nd pic, and a cross member in the middle,(across the top) gives good stability

I love this build sneaky. Props for a decent sized budget minded set up. This is probably closest to what I'm planning. Only real difference is I'm gonna have 2 4x4 tables on wheels. I just have to finish up this work contract and move back to the US.

Hey sneaky.... so did you just follow the instructions in that link to convert your window banger into an indoor a/c ?

great job on that btw... looks nice and clean.

yeah unfortunately i had a bad morning.. I tried to drill a drain hole through the 1x2 and into the metal frame of the bottom of my ac.. so that i could catch the condensation.. and I hit the copper refrigerant line..

Needless too say my hardwork and money ended up in the garbage.

The next time I do one of these I'll make sure to drill my drain holes BEFORE I have the thing completly built and assembled...

live and learn =/ .. gonna go see if i can find a 10k btu window banger for around 300-400 bucks tommorow and do another.. I might modify the sheet metal and go with something slightly better, but other than that i'll still use the same cheap 1x2s to frame the exhaust.. but this time i'll be adding a 6" inline duct fan 200 CFM.. 28 bucks at home depot. I've heard that the ac's run more efficient when the exhaust isn't obstructed.

Nice thread, don't really have a need for this ATM, but I love some Stoner innovation.

fire up those lamps at night like 9pm-9am way easier to combat heat at night, also if i was you i would add a third light i would stick a 600 MH right in the middle of the two 1000's, the mixed spectrum would kick ass in a setup like this
