I tried Jacks Hydroponic and Calcinit on a few runs, messed around with it for about 6 months. Finished smoke wasn't up to standards and didn't burn well. Buds didn't swell. Definitely not as easy to mix either as it needs multiple parts to be complete. I think it's made for lettuce? basil? Saved a few bucks, lost a few pounds.... You get out what you put in right?

While I appreciate the kind assessment of my growing skills, as I've said before, V+B works better with my water than any other nutrient that I have used to date. It works well with no other additives - I've started playing around with a couple of supplemental KoolBloom applications along the way, but most of my runs have been with only V+B & DripClean for my Blumats. It is also the only nutrient that I've found that has a 3:1 Ca/Mg ratio. While I have always had what I considered to be reasonable success with growing, V+B simply makes it easier overall for me.
I actually have a bunch of Jack's to try out, but haven't gotten to it yet. The last time that I was looking to change nutes, I did a bunch of research and came to the conclusion that it would be the best option. Right after I ordered it, I ran across some information on V+B and it sounded even easier. As it turns out, I think that it probably is a bit easier to use and I've been damn happy with the results.
I post in here for the same reasons that I post elsewhere on ICMag - to try and help people and hopefully give them the benefit of my experience. I don't grow commercially and I certainly don't work for Hydroponic Research. I have been doing this for a long, long time, and have a tremendous appreciation for how much easier information exchange has become since Al Gore invented the internet. The downside is the equal ease that has been given to chucking rocks.

I personally know Dansbuds and he is a straight shooter and willing to share his knowledge. I also know Rives from far back. He is a very smart and articulate person and helped me when I needed help. The few of you that have such a problem with whats going on here should excuse yourself from the forum and stop filling up this place with your continuance whining.
