Between yesterday and today I spent 5 hours cleaning up everything under the scrog table as well as plucking some fan leafs from the canopy. Prolly doesn't look like it from the pics in my previous post but I picked off about 1/2 of a large Home Depot Trash bag from these plants!!!

I've never had this crazy root growth before and I vegged one less week this round than I did last round using Aptus Start Boost and weekly OG Biowar Tea!!! This round been giving plants OG Biowar Tea once every 1.5-2 weeks and adding CX Hydropincs "Regen-a-Root" with every feed. LOVING this product and doesn't make any slime in your rez!!!

lookin good man! im gonna be switchin to Gavita as well, but going to run H&G full line, as i still have a ton left (went and visited their US office and they sent me home with my car filled with product.)

i was curious about your ventilation....you still just running the one AC and are you exhausting at all?

Ohh, and do you treat your clones before going into the flowering room....if so, mind sharing what ya do. Never had to deal with pests (knock on wood) but with me upgrading significantly in size, i feel i could run into some issues.

thanks!

I have also been rocking some OG tea, the Veganic Special Sauce. Definitely noticed improved performance the moment it came into play. I use like 1-2 tablespoons per 5 gallons and still saw real impact from its use even at a light dose in a predominantly inorganic nutrient program (coco).

I am a believer in OG Tea. If you'd like to learn more about the tea: How to Use

It isn't a totally unique product but what they are doing is a somewhat "new" process that uses dormant bacteria rather than a myriad of compost/vermi products to provide that initial charge of beneficials. I was skeptical at their booth so Chris Shwab (sales rep) set me up with the full 100 gallon bag (a $40 value) and he made a believer out of me. So now I feel that I should pay it forward, get everyone I can to know more about this product, because I feel it is fantastic and stand behind it. I get a lot of free stuff... But this is something I would genuinely fork over my $$$ to have.

I'm currently just using fresh air to keep temps in check. In the next day or two I will get my a/c going again and will use that with co2 until the end.

these clones weren't treated with anything other than I spray them with my OG Biowar Tea. But my previous clones which came from a friend was treated to a dip in Avid, then a few days later a dip in Forbid. Plus when I first got them I dipped the Rockwool cubes they were sitting in in some Merit 75. Those 3 things will take care of EVERYTHING!!! Some would say thats overkill but I don't think so at all. You get one infestation of either mites or aphids and your FUCKED!! Also a week after those dips in Avid/Forbid I give them a dip in Eagle 20 that way I know I'm not contaminating my room with anything. This round I've used nothing and all is looking GREAT...

If your taking your own cuts and you know everything is healthy and clean I would buy yourself some Aptus Bioshark Soil Attack and "Dislike" Both are expensive but work unbelievably well. Plus they are completely natural and non toxic which is always nice. One is for a soil drench and one is for spraying on your plants. It will keep bugs from ever wanting to go near your beautiful girls :tiphat: Haven't even had a single fungus gnat since using the Soil Attack product and before that I was catching TONS of them on my yellow sticky cards

LED, forgive my lameness, but when you say "dip" are you just dipping the rootzone or dunkin the whole damn plant?!

When I dip using the merit 75 I'm dunking just the root zone. When I'm dipping with anything else I'm turning the plant upside down and dunking the whole plant right up to the dirt or rockwool cube. But leaving the root zone above the solution.

lookin great as always! i seriously cannot wait to give those gavitas a whirl. what distance from the canopy are they?

I got a little more stretch than I wanted this round. Lights are all the way up and I believe I have about 21 inches to the canopy. U really want nothing closer than 24 inches when running at 1000w. And definitely nothing closer than 27 inches when running 1150w.

You will love these lights. They are bad ass!!!

Hey LED, great job on the setup & the grow. I have a question about your lights. I just picked up a few and have heard they cover 5x5 or 4x6. I know your space is 5x15 with three but you have yours set up side by side. I've also seen others hang them in line. Is the wider coverage perpendicular to the direction of the bulb? Did you hang them that way to get more overlap? Thanks.

Well, I think I found my answer on the main thread. Post # 338 whazzup says no light comes out of the ends of the bulb and the reflector spreads sideways. I'm going to hang them now....

Keep up the great work LED!

If your hanging lights in a row you'll want to hang them the way I have for a 5x5 footprint. This will give you the proper overlap.

Actually my setup is 16x5 and my colas are just as big on the edges of the scrog as they are in the middle. And if I really wanted to step it up a notch I could put a reflective wall on the fourth side that swung upwards for access and I bet I would gain at least a 1/4 lbs a light just from that!!!

I'm currently feeding 6 times during lights on with 10% run off. Feeding at an EC of 1.6-1.8 and plants are loving it. Not a burned tip in there. I check run off daily and its been staying right at 1.8 so I'd say I'm perfect on the feed.

I'm really interested to see final numbers on this run and see how this recipe stacks up against the all mighty Aptus :)

A question about temperature for the pros. From my research you want an elevated canopy temp to take advantage of the co2. My grow store guy swears anything over 78 degrees with co2 produces light airy buds. He also says he has guys running 600w Gavita's, running his food recipe and running temps and co2 where he tells them too and they are getting 2.5lbs per 600w Gavita!!!

I'm currently running my canopy temps at 82 degrees. What do you guys think?

82 sounds about right, but it also depends on the ppm of CO2. my buddy swears by 85 doing 3:1 Fox farm ocean forest: fox farm light warrior
feeding teas, but i always kept it 82-83 when using soilless and feeding botanicare and GH. i ran 1300 ppm, he ran 900. hope that helps.

Just read through this whole thread over the course of a couple hours. Like your style man, would like to see some pics of the nice cured bud if you had any lying around.
