High all, well I've been pretty busy at the grow doing different bits and pieces, I'm spending about 4 hours per day in there, so far so good. I'm currently at day 5 flower and the girls are starting to stretch, I'm taking clones tomorrow for the next run. I might run 1 strain per tray, I'm not 100% sure on that one.

Everything's looking pretty good, the temps are a bit off but I'm getting on that one this week. I'm not feeding them very much, just 0.5EC of A&B plus 0.3EC of CalMag (0.5ml/Ltr) for a total of 0.8EC (Excluding tap water) I'm going to bump up the A&B to 0.7EC just because they look a lil hungry. They are all getting fed 3x per day but this has only been for the past week since I transplanted them, they look good but not as good as they should be by this stage.

I just installed an automatic waste system, I have 3 waste trays for the 5 trays, Tray #1&2 are tilted so the waste goes into a 40Ltr waste tray, Tray#3's waste goes into a 20Ltr waste tray, & Tray#4&5's waste goes into a 40Ltr tray. I installed pumps into each trayand piped them into the bathroom, luckily this grow room had an en-suite so it was just a matter of putting the pipes through the door and down the toilet. The timers kick the waste pumps on twice per day, once after the second feed for 3 minutes and again after the last feed for 3 minutes....it works flawlessly. Here's some pics to explain better.

I'm happy with the room at the minute, I upped the A&B today because I'm seeing a lot of yellowing so lets see how they react. I just need to add hydroton to the top of the pots tomorrow and tweak the feed intervals because they are currently getting fed for 2 minutes at each interval but it is too long because I'm getting a lot of run off, probably as high as 45%.

It really is great having everything automated, the bins are 250Ltrs each, they could control that room for a week no problem when I get the feed intervals correct, the waste is automated, it just feels great not having to fill up reservoirs or empty waste trays every day lol.

I'm real excited to see how the genetics do, the StarDawgs look awesome, they look a lot like Chem D, I only have 2 of The White in there, one is a puny looking plan and the other is decent. WD40 also looks awesome, all 3 produce top shelf bud so I'm very excited to see how they do in a dialed room How are your 3 Field of dreams? What way are they growing for you?

what size drip lines do you have. I got a manifold like that but its like 7mm,I can't squeeze the 4mm line onto it. what your strategy mate?

I'm not 100% sure on that one azad, I got them at my local hydro shop, I always assumed that they were drip manifolds but they are slightly bigger than the other manifolds that I used, that's why I like them because they are less prone to get blocked because the holes are that lil bit bigger. The 4mm spaghetti line fits nice and snug on it for me. If you need some I can point you in the right direction. Which manifolds are you using at the minute bro?

The only thing that I could suggest for you to do and it might sound funny, hell it mightn't even work but try putting the manifolds into the freezer over night and keep the drip line somewhere nice and warm like the grow room, the cold might force the manifolds to contract enough to allow you to squeeze on your dripper lines, just a thought.

Thank You. I used them black 8 way manifolds for my last grow and they worked well but I found them a bit fragile.
I've yet to build a drip sys I can be pleased with.
