Hi ALL!!

After a long hiatus, I'm back in the game. It was funny after a few years logging back into my icmag account and seeing my old grows.. good memories..(will add pics if you like)

BUT FOR NOW...

A LOT OF BHO MAKING GOING ON ROUND THESE PARTS...


First, my medium tube holds bout 60-100g's


Here's a sample from my first test batch w/ coffee filters, now i use 50u screen and i fucked up on the purge on this test run. Now i hot bath as i spray and then do another one, then heat gun, then air purge over night. NO SIZZLE...



Now here's 4 batches air purging, after hot-bath and pruge with heat gun




Here's a pic of my large tube, it's pretty big, $60 and swapped out an old tube i had that was worth $40 for it, good deal




What you guys think? I got A LOT more trim to run so more pics in the next day or so.... any requests.....

any advice?????

I hope your not spraying bho onto the parchment paper directly. Other than that it looks a bit dark but good. Careful with the "air purge" make sure you got those runs covered. If its anything like what I've seen you'll have dust and all sorts of crap stuck to the top of that oil.

What kind of consistency is it? Is it still a bit sticky?

Uhhh yea... i do spray directly on to the parchement paper in pyrex dish in hot bath. Is parchment paper bad for BHO spray use?

yea they only were set out like that to cool after heat gun purge, i wrap em up so no dust or crap gets in it, i would think thats common sense... Oil is good, not runny when pruged at room temp, more sappy, can touch with fingers and roll in ball but just not for too long of it will melt in hand...

Yea, butane will dissolve the silicone that's on the parchment paper apparently. Cool man the consistency sounds good then. I would just stop blasting your BHO onto the parchment directly. I use a Pyrex pie pan.

Myth. It's fine to spray onto parchment. if it dissolved the silicone spray that is on the paper, the oil wouldn't come off, duh. That's why we use parchment. If you're worried about silicone better not use slick pads or anything for blasting either...

You're fine EBG. Just gotta work on your definition of a lot. People are cranking out lbs of bho now that it's a huge trend.

I read somewheres that the silicon they use on parchment paper is low grade and that enough butane will break it down.. maybe not so much that you'd notice a huge loss in glossiness but then who wants to smoke even a little silicon. Isn't one of the points of BHO to get the cleanest product possible?

Of course the goal is cleanest product, but this is the first i've heard of it being bad, i heard bout the silicone before but was told the cheap paper ($3-5), which is what i got, doesn't have silicone only the more exspensive papers have silicone, any one know for sure this is just hear-say

It has been documented many times on this forum that spraying directly on to parchment is no beuno! Purging residual butane on parchment is fine.

i wouldn't blast on to parchment.just straight glass. or if you want something easier then blast into water even if that's not the right thing to do i would rather a minuscule bit of H20 in my oil then silicone.

Here's the XXL tube i use takes 3 cans to fully flush, biggest glass one ive found locally any one know of bigger in bay area?

also you can see my "packer", two clothes hangers broken and tapped together, works really well, go figure...

V what it looks like right out of the hot bath for 45 mins, i dont see any cloudy butane at ALL, no sizzle, just co2 bubbles i think

almost every single brand of parchment is coated in silicone. might want to check you source on that.

I havnt tried it out though so im not sure how it works.
