All I can say is....for an unknown volunteer who has been beat to hell and back...and called "Scrub"..she's earned her spot in my vaporizer. Damn plant is a hardcore survivor...has no disdain for life....earns her respect

good breeding stock for the zombie apocalypse eh?

Don't get me started.

I was thinking about Doomsters:

so they survive the apocalypse in a bunker..on processed foods and bottled water. They come out after they are out of food or they think the coast is clear...just to find

everyone is dead...all the animals and plants are dead...and anything they might find to eat...is contaminated. The ground and water sources all contaminated...the air...probably...contaminated. Then slow sick death sets in

Great plan. I'd rather not see that day myself

then the zombies on top of that...my gosh...sounds fun

* I'd think that if the human race disappeared...the planet might be healthier

thats why im hoping for a super flu to wipe 99% of the people out,as a preferred end of the world scenario that is...other than that im just gonna keep riding my bike and working in my gardens and try and tread as lightly as i can...

Yup...me too. Try to stay out of the way of the crazies and their bullshit...tend to my own gardens. Follow my gut...do my own thing.

I really think that it all comes down to staying healthy and mobile. Healthy peeps I've observed...are almost always mobile and seem much happier. Miserable peeps are usually unhealthy and stationary. It's pretty much common sense...though we all have different opinions/concepts about health...and how it's achieved.

A rolling stone gathers no moss...live to run...run to live. Then you know...my whole spiel on diet...but my diet is designed around keeping me mobile.

Have a T-cell overhead...see if we get more rain. I'm on a day off from the trails....day off from everything but what i have going on here.

Ordering parts for a project. The project is at a stand still until I get those parts. Cheap parts too....holding me up....but I guess that's better than being held up by expensive parts. I love the internet for that kind of shit...saves me a long drive and a lot of gas..but I have to wait. $15 part...lol..holding me up until next week. Amazing how the cheapest...most unassuming part...shuts everything down

i was going to say its funny how people react to the bike/trailer thing, but its not since it ranges from fascination to utter indifference with of course the bulk lying in the bell curve in between....what is funny is how often i find myself in car/bike confrontations with prius drivers...as if seeing me having taken a real step towards ameliorating my tenancy on this planet irks them to no end...i admit on some level my efforts are just a pitiable as most americans since i live in a 3 bedroom house with a 20x40 attached workshop by myself and continue to eat meat in spite of knowing how burdensome it is to the environment...but,whatever,everyone has to live their own life,we all get by the best we can.....but yeah, its better to be moving and creating...i think many peoples struggles stem from lacking the tools to fulfill their creative needs....maybe in a transitory way like with your running...you're creating an artwork of movements using the terrain as a canvas....earth surfing if you will....some people dab paint on actual canvas to express themselves...whatever the method...mind and body achieves synergism to interact or affect the physical world in some way....but many people i think dont ever get to feel that in day to day life...

...and just like that

...and just like that

A huge cell collapses...and all hell breaks loose

Under water now....christ...there is going to be some damage to my gardens

That's the hardest I've seen it rain here...ever. The 2nd hardest was earlier this summer....man o man...shit is washing away

* good thing I staked that scrub plant (swear I'm in tune with my environment...I staked that thing last evening...thinking this might happen)...and that I've all my tomatoes staked as well. I'm going to have repairs to do...my gutters overflowed and created erosion. I've got mud all over my front walk way...just shit I have to fix

** power went out for about 1/2 hr...but I unplugged everything..so no biggie. Indoors is no worry...but damn...growing outdoors is so much harder. So many angles...so much chaos...so many opportunities for shit to go south

Well...I'm a hypocrite. I go to the gas pump and fuel up a ride that will drink a gallon of gas (plus added octane boost) in about 6 miles....a total luxury item...that I will tell you....is a piece of Americana (it is)....and I grow indoors using filthy ass electricity.

But yeah...I try to look at all activities I participate in...as art. Running trails is most definitely an art...hot rods are art..gardening is art...diet is art. I guess it's a perception thing...that allows us to exist in the insanity. You have to find peace within yourself...as certainly...no one else can give it to you.

DECIMATION CLOUD

DECIMATION CLOUD

...the future is uncertain. the end is always near

This weather pattern has become a beast. The T-cells built up early...pushing high above the mountain ridges...up up up with the thermal heat of the desert...

then collapsed on top of me...once again...but this time exploding with hail

^ Took this picture as the bottom of the cloud began to become heavy. A 1/2 hr later....fury was unleashed

^ AND ACTION: The Scrub plant being thrashed with the hail fall out. It came in a steady wave...for more than 10 minutes. Wind slanting it at angles....ice balls the size .32 cal buck shot.

You can see that the squash plants and the sunflowers were really shot up. Like a canister of shot exploded just overhead...raining down death. View the end of lives happening....plant screams drown out by bombardment

* After the cell calmed down...I took off on a trail for 1:51. Ran the wash outs...powered off the energy...took out a beating on myself

came home and took the below pictures

^ The Scrub plant revived...a bit torn and frayed...but that's been her entire life. Torn and Frayed.

The once mighty squash....nothing but fodder for worms

* This weather is predicted to be with us here...until Wednesday. If every day is as today...I may wash away. Dig on that

Well sometimes is a funny word

Well sometimes is a funny word

gardening is a bitch sometimes isnt it?

as on the same day...I have 2 Satechism IX1 (Casey Jones X BS2.2) on day 50....without weather....without care

^ These girls have been flushing for the last 5 days....plumping up like good little piggies. Easy as pie to cultivate...looking forward to some Satechism vapor. I'd guess they'll harvest 60-65 days...solid buds..solid yielding...smell nice...look nice....yada yada

* Indoor gardening is a cake walk when compared to outdoor gardening....at least in my environment. I can't control the sky...I can't control the wind...I can't control the rain....I can't control the hail....can't control temps or anything much else.

You know..a few years ago...I would have been devastated by what happened to my gardens today. Now...I don't even blink...flinch...bitch or moan. I understand the lessons of indifference. My pathway is teaching me how to keep moving on. Keep on keeping on.....you ain't special...fuck the bullshit....unrelenting reckless abandon...charge charge charge...never quit...never say die...no quarter

shoot, the indoor garden takes minutes to deal with, its the easiest of the gardens to deal aside from the cactus maybe but even they can be a challenge...thats why i pulled the plug on the veggie garden already, still 2 months of growing time left here but it was getting to be too much with the watering and everything else...plus i want to ride my bike dammit!

had a nice little dash today, glad to say i seem to have my hand issues sorted out,no real numbness or pain and it was a long enough ride for it to happen...managed the climb one gear higher than normal without any breathing stress...slowly but surely extending my comfortable range...need some trailer time to so i get the discipline to not just hammer away at the pedals,im not very good at relaxing on the bike and just pedaling, thats not going to work for an 8 hour day...

Preparing for the Landing

Preparing for the Landing

The grapefruit smelling OG X BS 2.2IX1 had most her flowers bent down...in order to...provide some final light spray..to the flowers that were previously...somewhat blocked

On day 66...I'll be taking her down in the next few days. Won't be able to harvest her whole..she'll have to be pieced out...so...these are the last pix of her...until manicure.

Plant reeks...and I've sampled those early harvest flowers (previously shown)....vaporized fruity funk...nice high

* Another day of T-cells? Looking like it. Flash Flood warnings for the 3rd consecutive day. Not even 11 A.M. and there is already major build up...climbing above the ridge...fuuuuuucccck. Same pattern as before...

Training again today...love running under T-cells...the explosions...the energy...the winds...the rain...the bolts. Praying there will be no hail.

3rd Consecutive Day

3rd Consecutive Day

The property falling under the wrath of another T-cell fall out

^ Didn't let up for 45 minutes. No hail...thankfully...but all these days of sudden weather...is doing some damage to...not only...my gardens...but also..my hillside. I'm having to shovel off mud...clean gutters...fill in erosion. All for not...because it will be doing this again tomorrow. Flash Flooding abounds...

* As soon as the cell let up enough...I hit the trail for 1:30. Crazy watching air to ground lightening strikes..as you make your way through a washed out section of mucked up trail. Couple strikes had me yelling out...just because they were sketching me out...had to get a grip on my nerves. Ran with method...ran with attitude..ran aggressive...ran very focused

Best not to think about the lightening when you are out there in it. It's a gamble...as I've seen lightening hit anywhere and everywhere...no reasoning behind it...ridge lines are sketchy...running in drainages under oaks is sketchy...being anywhere is sketchy in a good bust. Makes you feel alive...energized to the max

I have a dear friend who was about 30 years-old when she was struck by lightning. She survived fine, just stunned, but all of a sudden 15 years later she started having disconnects with her life.

Now she's 52 and has Early Alzheimer's Onset. She's basically losing touch with her memories and though she can still watch TV and laugh and hang out, she can't communicate much back when you talk to her. The progression is slow...but in another year she probably won't be able to dress herself, let alone understand why she has to eat.

Watch those bolts from the blue.

Ship Storm Maintenance

Ship Storm Maintenance

Gardened indoors...first thing in the morning. Then..had to shovel out a walkway...ladder up onto the roof to clean out clogged/full gutters..dig runoff trenches in various places....fix up beat down peppers..tomatoes..whatnot

Waiting to see what this day will bring...watching for those clouds..feeling for atmospheric change...find that window in which..I'm allowed out and about. Sipping tea...biding training time..vaporizing flowers

^ That's a 64 day old sample off the grapefruit expression of OG X BS2.2 IX1. Hardly dry..but I took a decent branch..and have been vaporizing the smaller flowers since wake and bake. At 64 days the flavor is all grapefruit funk...and the high: mellow melty

* I've decided to do the full harvest of the grapefruit plant on day 70...3 days from now

** The grapefruit expression reminds me a lot of C99...the flowers...the pistils..the aromas..the plant structure..the high

Want to see my Queen Mox clone (QMC)????

^ On day 39. Man what a crazy girl. The clone run is so different from the seed run. She is really dark green..totally cooperative...no lower intersex...flowering out with gusto..stinky...vine like...bendable hollow tubes..neat bullet style buds...very much into this plant

She's my happy-go-lucky machine. Lust for Life.

* I'm using her..in her..next run (2nd clone run) as a donor mom for the Hell Mox project. So...

Seed Run: she was incrossed...and I took those incross beans to get the Mox Mox IX1 plants I'm using for the Hell Mox project.

** I'm not pollinating her this run (clone run #1)

*******Just to break it down to myself:

Queen Mox (Mox Mox F1) X Mox Mox IX1 (which she mothered) and Hell Hound IX1 blended pollen

^ That will be one version of Hell Mox

Another version will look like:

Mox Mox IX1 X Mox Mox IX1 and Hell Hound IX1 blended pollen

^ That will be 2nd version of Hell Mox

Another Version will look like:

Hell Hound IX1 X Mox Mox IX1 and Hell Hound IX1 blended pollen

^ That will be the 3rd version

IMPORTANTLY: Some of Hell Mox won't be Hell Mox at all...they'll be incrosses...depending on what pollen grain hooks up. We'll never know the entire truth...because there is no one truth

AND to further lose sight: some of the Hell Hound IX1 used may be incrosses themselves (OG Jam IX1)...as I used blended Odessa IX1 and OG Jam pollen to make Hell Hound. For the Hell Mox project I used beans from the OG Jam leaning moms...so a chance that some will be OG Jam IX2...while others will be true Hell Hound IX1

This is the most dedicated I've been to a single line project. Years and years have gone by...many expressions have been experienced...couldn't tell anyone anything....nothing stays the same..but there are defined traces..if you can let go into the visions

I'm in deep...can't recommend breeding your own expressions...enough. It's a great experience. I can't remember it all...but it's a wild trip
