I agree with tJO, the plants are not that healthy or big, just the truth... I thought that in your thread last year and I think it this year. In fact didnt you loose a plant or two last year to fusarium? There is definitely nobody copying anything youre doing unless they are noobs that have never grown before, you have a very ordinary garden at best. Im not trying to hate but youre riding one hell of a high horse for such a mediocre garden.

yea mendo
how dare u grow big plants that look awesome and healthy, u should chop them down throw them away buy some cfls and grow 1 ounce and name it troll weed.

Once upon a time there was a grower who said this
"I am looking for fire, couch lock, yield, purple and frosty!
mendo dream, purple diesel x blueberry diesel their is some fire in those."

Myself I want to be on the top of the list for getting some of those genetics, no shit.

Mendo
please do yourself the favor don't get frustrated with any wieners who recently blogged here. Im sure I speak for most of the people who like to log in and look at your updates, we wont care if you ignore them and if I can speak for you...... trolls, go fuck yourself.

If the man or woman wants to grow 300 plants in 1000 gal conatiners and then pour kerosene on them he can, if he wants to feed em to pigs he can. Don't think he created the blog to talk about propositions in tim buc too. SO grow on mendo420 and post more pics, ignore fuckos

btw
these are NOT mine, but we at grow big karma association of the western states support your blog

p.s. I want some purple icky outdoor beans
Merry harvest Mendo and everyone else too

If I could only grow 25 plants, I would do exactly what Mendo is doing. If I wanted to optimize my grow, and grow 50 plants with 400 gal each, I would imagine that would yield more overall. However, Mendo is only growing 25, and is doing a dam fine job at it.

Edit: Also, our favorite threads and growers are just personal opinions. Personally, I think Mendo kills it. To each their own.

I think Mendo is killing it as well, growing 25 huge plants is not something to scoff at. It requires effort and dedication, which has been apparent in this thread.

This thread is one of my favorites, keep doing what you do Mendo!

Mendo,

I've read almost every big plant thread on here since 2008, not sure what those dealing out uncalled for criticisms are comparing this thread to, seems pretty epic to me!

The fact that you are also keeping within your limits and an advocate of organic growing makes it all the more impressive

JointedOne, you may not realise but your post minimizes all the hard work that has been put into this thread, calling someone out for suggesting this is the best thread on ICmag comes across badly to say the least. As usual and mentioned above, it's all about subjective perception.

Additionally, the fact that Mendo has large scale growers like Aeroguerrilla, Highlife45 and Organicbuds impressed should count for something.

SubZ-RO, I saw the little argument you had with the OP in the big plants thread, perhaps that is making you a little less objective than most. I seem to be blind to whatever spectrum of light casts a shadow of mediocrity over a garden like this, but I guess you see more of them than me..

Hello all,

Much respect for your skillz.

Are you above the fog line?

Its been quite foggy in the valley...burns off 9:45 or so. I have been treating with greencure to stave off mold and PM.

My neighbors (around the block) are out with their leaf blowers at 7:30am to blow off the moisture. Two different blowers going off as a matter of fact...kind of a tell actually to be running your leaf blower every foggy morning at 7 or so. Its all good, no one complains.

I am hoping for 4-5 more weeks of great weather.

mendo did you notice a short stretch this year going into flower? usually i see a nice stretch the first few weeks of august, but this year it seems like the stretch stopped in august. it almost feels like the whole growing season got shifted up 2 weeks. last year it was something like (june planting, july-aug14th stretch, late sept, early oct finish)

this year seems like its may planting, and stretch ends by aug 1st, and some strains are already looking to be ready by mid september, seed strains at least. all the seeds i put out are stacking and could almost be picked right now for a premo early crop. clones look to be finished around normal time in october.

Stretch seems normal to me.
Still growing!
A chem4 x mendo dream fem just started to bud and I'm sure will stretch more. Late October finisher. Purple Frost pheno I hope!

Most plants seem more than 4 weeks out.

I put out just a few early finishers this season.
they seem like Oct.1 finish.

Maybe Ill plant more early strains next season.

Do you think supplemental lighting forced your plants to bud once it was removed after solstice?
