It's my first time... be gentle ;)

Funny the upload page says max 800 so that's what I resize to, but I think there is some processing done by the upload script too. Not superstition, but computer magic -- perhaps the same to some! lol

Once you hit 50 posts, your max is 1024x1024 -- 888x666 fits in there, so I wondered why it always changed to 887x665... Heh...

Get a big bucket 5+ gal, or even an 18 gal tub to fill with water, un-pot your plant, then take your rootball, submerge in the water and gently work out the media...May have to rinse and repeat as needed.
Then you can proceed to cut, with clean preferably sterilized blades...Don't want to add any nasties into freshly cut root mass. However since you are in soil, organic, not as much concern as sterile DWC.

I only put that because you said the pots were too big for your veg, so I figured you'd be potting down. Don't really have to cut, but if you are potting down, you'll be able to keep more rootmass if you separate it from the media first, IMO. Which is what the water is for. Cutting down the rootball would just be to size it down, because the new plant won't be uptaking the same amount of stuff as the flowering plant, thus won't need the same nutrient delivery system it had previously established.

I'm a fan of new growth, I cut away the old, it's an anal thing.

Re-veg usually takes a long time, I'd get some other clones lined up.

I only say why bother because while I like the WW...I wouldn't smoke it anymore...Too much great stuff out there.

Yeah, beans can be a bitch (I'd get a card with extended count once you start pheno hunting), because your numbers get crazy for a brief moment...But the work pays off in the end, IMO. But many people go their whole career never popping a bean. If that is the route you take, I'd find a separate closet (quarantine) for the clones, or nuke them fuckers good when they arrive (PM, Gnats, S.Mites, ect..) if store bought...Only problems besides the Borg that I ever had are from Disp cuts and W.Coast potting soil.

Those buds look so beautiful I wish I could have a toke on some of that!

KG, if you ever make it to Colorado, let me know! :D

Day 70, and today was CD4's harvest day! I took some photos, and am processing them right now. She did a bit better than LP as far as yield...

Chemdawg 4 Harvest at 70 days...

Chemdawg 4 Harvest at 70 days...

So I left CD4 alone in semi-darkness over the weekend because I was not going to be home. I came home last night, and this morning, I harvested her. She was a LOT more stinky (and sticky!) than LP was at harvest. Here's the photos:

A lower branch before trim... all the lower branches looked like this.

Her top before trim...

...and after trim.

Total yield...

Weighing-in at 87g wet...

BTW, I know my trim job sucked :D I still don't have very good scissors, and don't exactly know what the heck I am doing. I'll get better ones for the next grow... which will be a while from now!

LP is pretty much dry now, and I will be throwing her into a jar soon to cure. I will weigh her buds again before I do so.

Given your setup, you may wish to look at 'perpetual' cycling of your plants. Say put one in every 3 weeks.
For people that can work a calendar, it can be a good way to run a personal and never be too far from a harvest should you run out.

:tree:Your trim job looks great! Good job.... that CD4 looks very tatsy and medicinal.... So your looking at about 20-22 grams dried.
.......................Nice harvest! :tree:

"Ain't nobody got time for that!" :D Nah, just kidding, I am sure a ton of people have time for that, but I am not one of them. As I've said, it takes me like 3 weeks to go through a gram, so I will be set for quite some time with this harvest! 147g wet from two small plants combined isn't too horrible... I am guessing it'll be what... about an ounce dry? That'll last me like a year! LOL!

Just figure you will have about 25% of your wet weight in dried product. Minus a gram or so for sticks............Your set for awhile!

Wow...thats a good pull, didn't you say they were only a foot tall?
You know you are gonna increase your consumption, having all that tasty, homegrown ( nearly) free kind.
Set a perpetual harvest every 8 weeks. Most wouldn't consider that perpetual...but with your low usage, it would work.
Remember- practice makes perfect, can't practice if ya only do it once a year

Final weights, dried:
LP: 13g
CD4: 21g

This will last me like... forever. LOL!

LP's reveg isn't going spectacularly well. I will watch her for another couple weeks, but she looks really sad. May have to scrap that idea. If any new growth at all occurs in the next couple weeks, I will start a new thread.

Sounds great, except that smoking your own is always better, somehow, so you want to do it more often. Then you build a little tolerance, so you smoke a little more, because it's just so good. And, of course, you'll want to share, even if you don't tell 'em that you grew it. That's not a problem in Colorado any more, but, well, old habits die hard.

It'll tend to snowball, a little, anyway, which isn't a bad thing, just a real thing.

Remember that if you grow more than you smoke, you can always give it away, and it keeps great in the freezer once it's cured. Just in case, ya know?

Very impressive final weight! And those buds look exceptional. Can't wait to see what you do next. :respect:
