Tagging along.

Envy you guys with lots of space.

love my lots of space,
the other half of the garage is empty still....
planning on putting 2x 4'x8' flood trays in there. maybe drip to waste on the trays, maybe just ebb & flow on the tables to start... probably promix, maybe organic soil... can't really move forward on that yet
.
THANKS Y'all
nice to see so many friendly icmag users tuning in

Aquashield is good to prevent damping off. Looking forward to your progress and thanks for the entertainment.

By the way, does anyone know if SRGB is a real person or automated responses?

Hey avi, looking good I see. As another poster had said, have you abandoned vert growing and if so, why? Or just decided on another plan for this one?

Avis at it again! Tagged up.

Why aren't you running your own work? Or are they for the future tables?

hey man glad ta be here for the show, excited to see that garage filled up.

14" maxfans move 1800cfm just like the 12" max but are just about silent. i need to get within 3-4' to hear 2 of them running. same motor, less RPM = less sound.

they're quieter than my 6 and 8" fans too.
I always wondered why someone would want to be cutting bigger holes and still getting the same cfms. Looks like I will be using the 14"s now instead. Thanks!

Dude, I used to do the same thing for labels... using a plastic beer cup cut into wedges like that. Great minds think alike I guess. :D

thanks mister D, im def hunting, gonna have alot of phenos and alot of strains for a while now.... also the pollen chucks that could (and some will) come from this will be crazy!!

I've got some info & questions about this bucket system...

info: wash your media (clay pellets, hydrocorn, hydroton) before putting it in the buckets, to reduce sediment build up and flow back into res.
res temps need to stay around 60-70 degress, doin my best to keep them there.... gonna put up a wall between my res and the buckets asap.

questions:
how often do most people flood their buckets? right now im flowing 6 timesper day, spaced equally apart. is that ok? less/more? it's my first time in a buckets system so any advice is welcome.

I run them from the start at every 2 hours lights on an once in the middle of sleep. Raise your control bucket so the water level goes a lil higher while they are small then once a healthy root system is going bring it to the floor an raise the buckets on 2x4's to get a better drain. Then go to every 3 hours. Get some pvc to raise the inner buckets a couple inches also. Keep an eye on ur control bucket for clogs in the return pump. This has ruined a crop with water sittin for 3 days when i went on vacay. Made me put the system in storage but your inspiring me to put it to use. Its all cleaned an ready with hygromite silica rocks. Sittn on 36 buckets worth from when i ran this in the past.
