Talk about doing push ups last night my lil member got mad at me ,i put a plastic bag over him ,then shoved him in some deep dark moist somewhat fishey smelling hole ,and then to top it off i made him do push ups for like 3 minutes til he puked then i pulled off the bag and flushed it ,i think the bag came from a package marked trojan.thats my extent of doing push ups

I found this thread when looking up 100 Pushups Challenge in a search engine..awesome!

I've been walking a ton lately, plus dabbing in the juice fast fad and doing pushups every day for the past month.

I haven't ever done 100 pushups in a day though, but I usually get 60 done during the day.

Heck yeah, more of us should be doing this! Just the small amount of time it really takes to do pushups every day is not much compared to the nice results you see. Lots of toning, sculpting and just muscle building..you're lifting your body weight every time you do one pushup, it's awesome for you.

just got done with my workout..100 pushups plus my normal weights workout.

I'm still doing the pushups challenge....I've noticed a ton of difference in my pecs..it used to look like they were just there..nothing much to them..now there's some muscle, some shape, some definition. I started this 3 months ago, built up to 100 a day within two weeks and kept going...after having been walking and then adding pushups, most recently weights again, still with kale shakes with celery and fruit...down about 10 lbs. from 200..can see my abs even more now. I would've lost more weight, but I still eat like a normal young male.

but the pushups themselves improved my overall upper body strength. I find them to be the best chest workout and just overall upper body workout. After doing this all summer I actually liked taking my shirt off at the river and lake this year :)

im back on the pushups starting today, my memebership at the gym just ended so bodyweight lean down time. ive gained crazy mad pec size from 2 years of lifting . but hop5 time to do more than 100 , i think ima start with 200 and work my way up to as far as i can go . pushups give me that super pump , it would be nice to get some hypertrphoy and lean down at the same time .

Its been said already but unless you have superhuman healing i wouldnt do the same resistance excersize everyday (pushups, dips, whatever)
Better results from 3x a week.. For my body its 2x a week or even less..
If u dont let ur body heal all the way ur just breaking down muscle n not getting stronger n bigger..
Work out smarter/ know ur own body.. If ur still sore dont workout the same muscles agajn til ur not sore.
My two cents anyway

100 push-up's a day!!!!! I can crank those out in 15 mins. While I was locked up I was doing 500 a day. Start that thread and see how many jump on that!!!! I don't do them anymore. Now I curl five gallon pails of water while i'm carrying them thru the swamp. I go thru 100-150 gallons every other day, so think of the curls. Push-up's are for sissy's, jk, lol

it is true that doing the same exercises or routines for a while will lead to your body adapting and not getting the same results or gains as in the beginning. At that point, do something different or take a break from it by stretching to lengthen the muscle you gained from pushups.

I noticed from my experience, after a month of 100 pushups daily, you plateau..but, you can go for more than 100 and your stamina is increased mightily.

Stretch bands (good ones) !

Simple way to change up, a push up work out.
