I like floros ..I didn't hear my favorite one talked about tho ..PLL <-- the shit ..although the don't have the length as a 4 ft t5 ..the still have the intensity ..

T5 ho 2ft -2000-2500 lumens
PLL -2ft -4500-5000 lumens

And like t5s they come in all different color spectrums ..I use 2 in veg 110 watt fixture ..6400k and a 3500k ..u can buy the dual ballast PLL that holds up to two 65 watt bulbs ..that's a lil over 10k lumens ..compare that to a 4 bulb t5 at 8k lumens ..
On the coral forums t5 Ho vs PLL is the great debate

Hi Silverhazefiend :)

PLL's are very nice. Basically a 4 foot T5HO bent in half.
The lumen output you list above is for a 2 foot T5HO. The way you have it listed may confuse those not familiar with what you are saying.
Looks like you are comparing a 2 foot tube to a (bent) 4 foot tube.

I have a couple of PLLs I use for an isolation cab every now and then. Great lights.
I also prefer them to the 2 foot tubes.

The only benefit of PLL over (4 foot) T5HO is form factor. Fits in some places where a bigger light wouldn't.

"Another thing I know you are liking is the fact that you can work around them with the light on without dark sunglasses/welding goggles." This may be much of the reason I want to mess around with T5's, my eyes are not any better from using bare bulbs and the T5 rooms are like cool, gentle places.I like growing rooms full of trees with HPS too but no matter how many times I use my welding goggles, there's times when I don't.I already have a spot on my cornea that's growing in size a bit. It's more likely from sunburning my eyes skiing without goggles out west but the T5's are fun. Here's a pic of the 9'er just placed under T5's and starting to flower.:)

This is a BX version of my cocaine kush using pollen from Raho's O Haze. This is day 32 of 12/12 and as you can see in the background the plants on the perimeter stopped stretching right at the ceiling and I had to mount bare 600's to the roof to light up the colas.I have a feeling that by day 75 this thing is going to be loaded up.:)

This is so exciting Slip!
Those colas are gonna get HUGE!

I am really happy to see the structure change a bit to reduce the spacing between the OG ping pong balls, but not too far in the sativa direction.
Pedigree of the Cocaine cut is HAOG x SFVOG.

I went back through some of my pics and found a decent shot of her "Aunt" at 30 days.

Things change REALLY fast around this time.
Can't wait to see her in a couple days.

I can see the frost starting to show on the leaves. Can you describe that a bit? Any smells?

Just beautiful.

What are the effects like?

I just ran across a thread by UncleFishstick about this strain.

Looking soupy Dr!! I've heard great things about that clone but havn't smoked or seen it...yet...@.Born Loser I have 10 fair sized trees in there all on the perimeter and six smaller clones on the inner circle. The trees are all from seed. The donut gives the colas a chance to grow 3ft long even after topping the plants twice. This run I took some advice from DHF and ran the bare bulbs at canopy height until the stretch was done then dropped the lamps in.I have 2, 400's on the top corners at a 45 deg angle. At the start of this one I was doubtfull about how it would turn out but a cool August helped me quite a bit.The plants in the pics are heavy on the citrus/petrol smell.:)

Nope, I'm going to trim the first one this morning. She's been hanging whole for long enough that the main stalk snaps.I'll take some dry, trimmed up shots in a few hrs when I start in on her.The buds look wicked with the leaves still on so once I trim them they'll be shining. They still stink like hell.:)I have clones saved from this to run in my up and coming T5 room, this and the BS 2.2 seem perfect for growing with flouros with some accessory hps.Half of a quart mason jar is about an oz of BS 2.2 and I expect the same for the CBXDB.I know I have close to 2 jars.:)

One night in a jar and the CBDB has a VERY strong smell.I'd almost have to say beach roses when the whole field is blooming with a heavy blueberry weed smell on top.I showed some to a friend down at the boat and he said if this is blueberry(BS 2.2), this is doubleberry(CBDB).We smoked some joints as we prepped the boat for the fall season.Pretty happy with both.I spent the afternoon diving and clearing any crust off the bottom. This harbor I'm in now grows barnacles like crazy, my trim tabs didn't get the right paint and this was my 3rd scraping.Out of breath to say the least, my shoulder is tweeked though...:)

Yo Slip did you find phenos in your Nev's that felt "furry" almost like a stinging nettle?

I've noticed both a male and female in my batch of nev's with this trait. Most have tougher purply stems but these phenos grow green stems that feel soft and furry.

Thanks for your help.
