Will you have access to water if you buy land that cheap? Hire a company to dig a well? Maybe do some testing before buying to make sure the groundwater is ok...

I think the San Luis Valley is about 150 feet to water. I'm sure it is in some areas. I'm really looking for a place that's established. City water and utilities. I just need a little space. A Place with a well is okay too, but I'll have to get a softener and micron filter just for showering.

There's also a 15K Condo in Reno I like. And 3 along the Washington State Coast.

Watered the plants. 3 plants 1 gallon of water. I guess they got about a foot of water today. I dug down about 2 inches and it was soft but dry. Picked off a few more dry leaves. The last ones tasted like leaves when smoked but because I've been straight for close to 5 months, about March 26th, I caught a little buzz and it lasted about an hour or so.

I retied the plants as they started leaning again. Just moved the string up a few inches. I really miss growing indoors. So easy mostly worry free. And no transport at harvest. I'm guessing about 2 months left in the season and we're not even at 12/12 light yet. I think I'll get a good harvest, but not my best.

Every time I go I think about the one year I got flooded out near the same area in Early September. I had 4 8 foot plants. They were white widow. I made the choice to cut the top 4 feet as the lower 4 feet was under water. What a dangerous situation that was. No chance of that this year unless main street gets flooded.

Go west, young man. The gold rush is over but the green rush is on.
Didn't Obama say they'll leave recreational mj alone? Don't know if i believe that, at the beginning of his 'rule' he sent a letter to all the us attorneys saying mmj was low priority and more dispensaries and growing ops have been raided under his rule than under G.W.'s...

We've had high temps, lots of sun and little rain these past 2 weeks. Gotta be rough for those outdoor patches. Facelift, have you thought of using those water absorbing crystals? Think they really help outdoor grows survive droughts...

I have over 2 pounds of the the things. I used to use them in my indoor plants.

Good news here. It's about to rain. The sky went from 3pm to 7:30 in 5 minutes. I haven't seen the weather change like this in a while.

As for west. Yes. I spent a summer in Leadville Colorado. Beautiful place but by October the people switch into survival mode and become unfriendly.

I've been using this site called creditkarma to track my crdiet score. My score went up 12 points to 687 this month. I'm projecting a score of 757 by the end of the year. I also just picked up a 3k Discover Card that has 0% interest for 14 months.

Things are going well here.

YA the crystals work good.I try to use them every year outdoors since my back is too bad to lug water. With any luck Ill be growing in a small greenhouse with in a few years during the summer and mainly pollen chucking indoors or just personal smoke. This heat is killing my indoor since the ac i was using in the grow went out.Been 85 most of the summer good thing ive just been testing things and not worried about yield.Ill have to invest in a mini split soon for here on out.

It's temps like this that make me grateful to be growing in a basement with central air

Temps never over 77 with 1600w running

You outdoor guys must be sweating your balls off

One of my plants snapped. It's odd. When I got 18 inches of a plant was about 2 fee away from the main stem in the ground. It is a clean break at one of the nodes. I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out what happened. We did have some decent rain and some winds. there are tree branches down around town so I'm thinking the wind caught the top of the plant, which got hung up in the native grasses and then the stalk moved back into place the top 18 inches just came cleanly off the stem.

I have the worst luck with outdoor plants.

Mini splits are useful but do have their drawbacks.

Can you salvage the plant, make edibles or hash, Face?

That sucks Face, hope it doesn't hurt your harvest

Outdoors is so unpredictable

Temps are coming down though, so that's a +

No. It's still in the ground. Doubt there will be more than a gram on it.
I began the season with a "what the hell" attitude anyway.
I got some buds and I will have more later.
Free buds are free buds.

I watered the plant today. I had 2. One had been stunted from the start and it just progresses from there. The plant pretty much dried and cured in the ground. I watched it. I tried burying the roots with top soil. I think the roots were not deep enough and I know there were exposed roots. I bet it just got baked. I pulled it today. Smells really sweet. Already dry. It should burn up at first light. There's a 9 inch paper plate full. Not going to weight it, but it might be 1/4. Should be pretty good for someone who's been straight for a while.

The other plant is doing better, better than before, yet it has the same problem. Exposed roots and planted shallow. It looks good and green. There are no dieing or yellowing leaves and it's got some strong buds going on. It's about 3 1/2 feet tall. If it continues flowering for about 6 weeks, I might get a 3/4 ounce when dry.

Hopefully I'll have some joints when I go to Vegas...

Yeah, owning your own Home is the way to go

Within 2 years, my family and I will be gettin the hell outta il

Thinking Colorado, maybe farther west

Looking for a good chunk of land with no neighbors

Enough room to raise some animals and whatnot, privacy is what I desire most

LOL me too. This state is a joke!

How's the smoke from that dried up plant? Tasty?

I dont think CO and Cali are the green rush that everyone thinks they are; the markets there seem pretty mature.

Made some butter; 3-4 lbs of butter, 3-4 ozs bud, in a slow cooker for 10 hours.

Also made some coconut oil in the slow cooker as well; maybe 2 ozs with one jar of coconut oil? Thinking of using this a topical for aches and pains instead of cooking with it...

Dr. G good to see You back.
I too took a couple Years off.
Been back on site several months now, just now getting the room back together.
Building a RDWC. Been watching Youtube, and am doing it like HydroHybrid's.
Im not using Brutes though. I already have a bunch of those tough totes from HD/Lowes.
The black ones w/Yellow lids. they are 27gal, brutes that HH use are 28. I also am using a tough tote for a rez. where HH uses a kitchen garbage can. I am using it to gain the extra water capacity.useing a Eco633 pump, and an Eco 3 air pump with those large circular air diffusers in each plant site.
I will be running 2 plants scrogged under a net 6' x6' using a 1K Hps. I want to run 2 600's but I am using what I have on hand for the most part.

I am taking My time and not rushing it this time.
When there is more to share I will show and tell.

Welcome back, and MUCH success Dr.G.

Peace; 1TT
