Today when the lights came on and I opened the tent I saw that almost everything got too heavy and flopped over. A bunch of colas laying on top of each other. Nothing broke, I just added more trellis to hold everything up. I'll take pictures sometime soon.

The ladies are just plugging away just as one would want. So far I have only given them water and once a really simple EWC extract**.
I added the screen today and I hope to have the screen filled and flip to flower sometime in the next 3 weeks but really I am in no hurry, I just want happy plants and some good smoke. Here are some pics also, Cheers!

**(EWC in 400 micron bag, shaken and massaged around in water for 10-15 min to break loose micro-organisms from the castings then added a touch of kelp and humic acid for bacterial and fungal food, then soil drench and top dress with the castings from the tea bag; from what i understand from Elaine Ingham this should be an adequate replacement to AACT for soil drenches assuming one has enough compost or EWC since there is no brewing to multiple organisms.)

Wow. 3 posts. You must really want to make a point about Pine Shavings. LOL
Just keep plucking leaves you find mites on and clean the sides of your pots and floor with mild bleach and water. This should help alot with the spread of them and may get rid of them all if you pluck the leaves and any under growth with the little bastards.

I use forest duff that I collected from the forest around my house. I'm sure there are pine shaving in it considering how many trees are pine. I definitely compost pine chips and needles.

Thanks for the tip but I am not going to use any bleach cuz I don't want to hurt any of the flora fauna except for the mites. I'll just be neem happy for a whiles as soon as new plants go in these planters.

Plants enjoy a nice neem oil treatment and it will control the mites.

They don't like smoke or ash so to rid a building of them remove the plants and have a fire inside. It's been over a year since my shop fire and they have not returned.

Remember to never bring a plant inside from outside. Never bring in someone elses clone. Just grow from seed and you can stop bringing other growers mold and mites into your room. Make your own moms and clones. Make seeds if you like.

I hate mites. Bog

The mites are slowly starting to do more leaf damage but nothing on sugar leaves or buds just big fan leaves. Here are a couple pics from today when the lights came on. Today is day 46 of 12/12.

those are some sexy looking sb's. bummer about the mites. I had a pretty serious infestation at the beginning off summer from bringing an outside clone in. I don't know how you feel about going nuclear on them, veg only of course, floramite wiped them out and hasn't seen one since June. mighty wash had also worked well for me...I think the m wash is mostly water and safe through flower

These pictures are from yesterday which was day 55 of 12/12. Today I chopped the plant in the front right but the others will be up for a little longer.
