Empty Cans?

Recently when running through many cases of Lucienne I noticed that I had one can that was completely empty in the case...

I thought I mixed up my cans but I did a count and sure enough there was an empty can in one of my cases..

My partner has also had the same thing happen with Lucienne.

Have any of you ran into empty cans when doing large runs?

One way to check a case is to weigh it before opening it.

I dont have any cases on hand but will post a weight when I do. If anyone out the does please post a weight.

We've run a number of long cases over the last several years and have not found any empty cans.

Could be either a filling error, or a leak.

i thought this was gonna be about recycling cans lol.....
anyone got experience or knowledge on this????

i got enuff cans to build a castle.

thanks gw
I sure hope its a filling error, as a leak would be much more dangerous to the consumer.

after all this can talk, it made me wonder, if one could turn one of them old cans into an extraction tube??? (since the material used for the can should be, non-reactive with the butane)

blessss

Been done by others, but the width to length ratios aren't good for maximum efficiency.

Sooooo, after never finding an empty, I found one while running a 72 can long case yesterday.

It may just be a lucienne issue as thats the only brand I have seen empties in.

It may well be, and seemingly a recent one with their London refinery.

I have no idea how many Lucienne we went through from both Korea and London, before starting to recycle, and we never got an empty, but a day after I said that I had never seen one, I did.

What are the odds?

It threw me for a loop.. It seems like there sure be some sort of simple qc/qa that would catch the mistake.
